Wulingyuan Guiyuan Mountain Lodge

The room was very clean, and I could faintly smell disinfectant from the hairdryer, which was reassuring. The owners were incredibly friendly and even gave us a ride to the South Gate. It's located at the foot of the mountain, so the air quality is excellent – highly recommended! Plus, the shower water was hot, which is a big deal considering Zhangjiajie's high humidity, especially at the base of the mountain. When we were there, the owner was actively using a dehumidifier, showing how dedicated they are to providing a comfortable stay. You can also enjoy beautiful mountain views from upstairs.

The room was very clean, and the landlady spoke slowly and was quite warm and welcoming. The scenery was also great; you could even see Huangshizhai.

Not bad. The entrance was a bit hard to find. The environment and hygiene were decent, worth the price. They offer noodles and stir-fries, which is quite affordable for a scenic area, and the taste is average. The owner was really nice and drove us to the scenic spot entrance first thing in the morning. Overall, it was pretty great.

The landlady was very welcoming, and the room was spotless, without any strange odors. The sheets, blankets, and pillows were all exceptionally clean. We didn't even want to go out; she offered to cook for us if we ordered dishes. The food was delicious and really hit the spot, much better and cheaper than a restaurant! You could tell she genuinely puts her heart into running the place. Highly recommended!

We originally booked a twin room, but when we arrived, we told the owner our preferences. She showed us another room on the fourth floor, which was a family suite. The best part was the rooftop terrace – we fell in love with it instantly and decided to switch rooms. It was absolutely wonderful to sit up there, feel the breeze, and gaze into the distance. It’s perfect for people like us who enjoy peace and quiet. It would also be great for a group of friends looking for a lively time. The only downside here is the limited food options. The nearest supermarket is downstairs, but the selection is poor and prices are high. They also only offer stir-fried dishes. No delivery services reach this location. However, it’s very close to the South Gate of the Forest Park. I recommend bringing plenty of your own food if you stay here. If you have a car, it's no problem at all; getting around is easy. The owner even helped me carry my luggage upstairs. I wanted to buy watermelon, but there were no stores nearby, and she offered to drive me, but I was too embarrassed to accept. Many thanks to the owner; I would definitely come back if I have the chance. 100% satisfied with the place and the service.

Great for families with kids! Breakfast is included, and there's a restaurant on-site. Parking is available, and the place is very clean with a comfortable environment.
