The host was exceptionally helpful and friendly. They sat us down when we first arrived and ran through the local sites with a map and helped us to plan an itinerary for our short stay of two days. We appreciated the local knowledge to be realistic about what we could fit in for our time there. I recommend staying at least three full days to see everything. The scenery is absolutely amazing and the view is very nice from the room. The space is clean and tidy and the beds are comfortable.

The place is conveniently located near the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and is easily reachable by local ride hailing transport! The homestay boss is very nice and helpful and explained the route and how to tour the various attractions in Zhangjiajie in detail and is easily contactable whenever I need help! The room is very beautiful with a great mountain view and is very clean as well. I enjoyed my stay there very much and thank you for the great stay! Highly recommend this place for a budget-friendly and comfortable accommodation option!

I had a great stay at Yuxi! The owner was very helpful, planning my itinerary to ZhangJiaJie National Park, helping to book tickets, and making my stay very pleasant and welcoming! Kudos to this sweet accommodation! The Didi trip to the national park costs 20RM per day to and from.

One of the best hotel stays we have ever had in China. Amazing hospitality and the most delicious breakfast everyday. My girlfriend is a picky eater and she devoured their wonton soup. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The bed was very comfy and the view outside of the room was phenomenal. I came to Wulingyuan for all of the amazing hiking and scenery but every morning we wanted to relax in our room because of how cozy it felt. Staff was amazing, and even drove us to get food late in the evening instead of allowing us to call a taxi. He went over the best forest park routes for us and reccomended a great, affordable massage therapist. Ask for therapists #82 & #50. And one of the highlights of our stay that I believe emphasizes the caring nature of the family running the hotel is that the night we arrived, they rescued 2 baby kittens and created a place to shelter them. As animal lovers, we really appreciated that. Cant wait to return!

Wow. What a stay. The accommodation is lovely. Room was beautiful. And our hosts were just the nicest. To serving us amazing breakfasts to helping us out with routes, attractions and transport. Don’t know what we would have done without their advice. And they made it feel like a home away from home.

Very cozy and calm neighborhood near a stream, great for both family and couples. Clean and comfortable bed, the view from the room was nice, you can see fish swim in the stream. We also got help with guide on the map of the national Forest. Very welcoming and friendly hosts.

Yuxi Homestay is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. When we arrived, they were very welcoming and helped us make a itinerary for Zhangjiajie, which was super helpful. This Homestay provides a delightful breakfast with multiple options to choose from. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. This was also the case for dinner, there were a lot of options to choose from and the chef made us some delicious local & traditional foods! And then we have the view!! They had breathtaking views and a peaceful ambiance. We even could fish in the backyard of the hotel. It's an ideal retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Overall, Yuxi Homestay offers a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and charm. It exceeded all my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay. Without a doubt, this homestay deserves a full 5-star rating.

I loved this place. It’s so calm and peaceful. The host is so kind and helped me so much. It was like staying at home with family. Room is so beautiful, enjoying sunset and sunrise here is the icing on the cake.

Really friendly and helpful staff, made us delicious breakfast every morning and have us detailed itinerary suggestions for each day in the national park. The common areas of the hotel (and all restaurants and shops in the area) were cold in late December - doors and windows left open everywhere. Beautiful views from the room, easy 45 min walk or quick Didi to the east gate of the park. Would recommend this hotel.

It was fantastic staying with Yuxi and her families and friends. When I arrive there, they help me to plan for Zhangjiajie and around it. It was best tips and ease me to plan. The breakfast was amazing. I would say best food at the town. (I can imagine if they offer dinner options just one menu like breakfast but paid option, I would love to get it) Room was well organized and has such a nice view. They have strong heater. The insulation is something consider for winter. However, the heater cover it well. And the breakfast and friendly staffs are amazing to miss because of that. I would definitely choose it again

100% RECOMENDABLE!! Lo maneja una familia super atenta. Están en todos los detalles. El hotel está muy bien ubicado si quieres recorrer el Parque Nacional de Zhangjiajie. Está a 5 minutos en auto de una de las entradas. Las habitaciones son muy luminosas con techos de vidrio que las hacen muy interesantes y fuera de lo común. Los precios son muy accesibles. Fuí con mi familia y pasamos unos días maravillosos. Volveré aquí definitivamente!!!😁

This homestay was the best experience of our trip to China! The place had such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It was spotless and well-maintained, with an amazing view that made every moment special. The energy of the space was incredibly peaceful, perfect for relaxing and recharging. The family running the homestay was truly exceptional. The sister patiently explained the routes for us, ensuring we could explore the area with ease. The brother was incredibly helpful, assisting us in booking tickets and always being available whenever we needed him. The mother cooked the most delicious food, including an excellent breakfast that we looked forward to every morning. We loved our stay so much that we extended for two more days, and we still wish we had more time to extend even further. Their kindness and care made our stay unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting!
