I love this hotel especially breakfast. The breakfast was amazing and I love this homemade flavor. It’s nice to be able to arrive beyond normal check-in time as long as you tell the hotel in advance. However, I can hear voice from other rooms clearly, so it’s kind of noisy while others are activing. Anyway , this hotel is amazing overall.

A wonderful B+B. Everything was fantastic. The room was lovely, clean and cosy with all the amenities you'd need Staff were helpful and friendly Breakfast was delicious too. Really filled us up for the start of our day. Location is great too - Only a 10 minute walk to the centre of York. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

The staff at the guest house were excellent, very friendly and informative, they couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was cooked to 5* excellent products. The room was very clean and tidy. We will go there again.

We have just come back from Saint Ralphael guesthouse in York. It was absolutely amazing,Danny and the staff were brilliant. The room and the breakfast were perfect. We were only a 5 minute walk from the center of the city, so it was ideal each night to go for an evening meal.

My husband and I loved this small guest house. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was prepared and delivered with graciousness, it was affordable, and the location was close to all we wanted to do near the old city center. But what made it a truly great experience was the staff. Everyone there was so kind and helpful. Danny went out of his way to help us and gave so many great recommendations. It is truly a spot that wants to ensure your stay is the best it can be. Thank you Danny and the rest of the staff.

This is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting York, and everybody here is very friendly and welcoming. They offer a an excellent breakfast and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. It’s a relatively short walk from the guest house into the medieval portion of York. They do offer on street parking, and you need to let them know that you will be driving to their location.

This was our second stay at St. Raphael Guest House. It is conveniently situated for all the attractions of York which are just a few minutes walk away. You can walk along the road or a more picturesque walk down by the river. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. There is a lovely, friendly atmosphere and staff that can’t do enough for you. Breakfasts are delicious with good quality ingredients, but the highlight for me was the selection of home baked breads. Good value for money and when visiting York, wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
