Everything is good here!! Location, Room cleanliness, Breakfast, View all good! So comfy and so worth it!

We were a family group of 4 adults and 2 children , each room had a double bed and a good size sofa bed. The beds were comfy although the sofa beds were a little firm but were for the children who were happy with them. We requested rooms close together and they were next door to each other, facing the front of the hotel so with the road outside. The soundproofing was good and we did not hear much noise from outside. The air con was excellent and nice and cool. The bathroom was good with a large step in shower, and complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was included and there was a good selection to choose from all very good quality. The waffle maker was an added bonus!! The location was very good, not far to walk into the centre and very close to Tesco local for any extras you may need. We bought a few drinks as there was a handy fridge in the room. I would dedinitely stay here again.

Very good location. Food was good quality although slightly limited range for breakfast. Helpful that the hotel has a secure baggage room.

Stay was lovely - just visiting York for a few nights for a change. Room was very clean & air con worked really well, in fact got too cold for us. Bed was reasonably comfortable but pillows not soft as we’re used to & they couldn’t supply softer ones. Food was good, although only had breakfast.

Hotel is in a quieter part of York yet very near to the major attractions like Shambles, Fortress Wall and York Minster. You can even walk to the train station. Checking in was quick and easy. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was clean with comfortable bed and pillows. Hot water shower was instantaneous and easily controlled. Buffet breakfast starts early at 6am with a good choice of offerings. Go early for a leisurely start of the day and to avoid the crowd. Checking out was just as quick and easy. You can also leave your luggage while you go out for a last walk though York before you catch your train. Wetherspoon pub is nearby too where you can have nice food and great drinks at reasonable prices. Hampton will definitely be on top of our list when we return to to York.

Stayed in Room 110, Clean & comfortable room. The hand-held shower head was not function well caused low water pressure, luckily the rain shower worked. The location is perfect, just a short walking to the major attractions. Standard breakfast buffet which was included in the room rate.

Lovely hotel even though the breakfast is not that great. Wonderful location.

As usual lovely and clean. I used to be a cleaner, so I know which bits to check. All the chrome was lovely and shiny in the bathroom. Only 1 complaint about the breakfast.....NO COOKED TOMATOES and I love them on a breakfast. So I was very disappointed that I was tomatoeless. There have been cooked tomatoes every time I've stayed before.

Very good for location for walking into the city. Sadly, there is no parking at the hotel, but there is NCP within walking distance. Room ok, beware of the shower as the water leaks out on the floor! Breakfast ok, the staff was not that pleasant in the breakfast area l. Would stay again if I'm in that area.

Room is quite clean, amenities is good, good value for money in general.

Good location with Tesco and food hall nearby. Some attractions are within waking distance.

The sofa bed is terrible. It is hard and noisy. The person sleeping on it can't even turn over in the night. The staffs are nice, especially Femi. He kindly helped my son to install the batteries in the newly bought toy train.

Very good location close to amenities, with nice service at the hotel. Breakfast was good .
