The hotel has been built for a long time, so the appearance and interior decoration are showing signs of aging, but the overall environment of the room is very good, the layout of the hotel lobby and dining space is also very unique, and the breakfast is as good as other Hilton hotels.

You get what you pay for. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else. Don't be fooled by Hilton. The infrastructure is old and the floor creaks. I don't know if it's because of the hotel package coupon (if it's true, can you mark the package room as inferior!), I was initially given a room 2xx on the 3rd floor near the elevator in a relatively central area. When I got in, I found that the balcony door couldn't be closed. It opened with a slight pull without turning the handle, so I changed to another room (I wouldn't have changed if I had known the room behind was like that). The second time, I was given a room 1xx. I finally found it after walking through a long corridor, going up and down several steps, and several doors. I felt it was remote and cold before I even entered the door, and then I found that the safety lock behind the door couldn't be locked. The chandelier was entangled with spider webs, the toilet light was dim, and the air conditioner was blowing cold air. Just as we were studying how to set the air conditioner, the glass rack for the tooth cups next to the bathroom sink loosened and tilted, and the tooth cups slid down and made a sound, which scared us (Figure 4 is a screenshot of a video taken not long after entering. You can see that it was already attached to the edge, but it didn't fall off. It fell off just after we checked in. Now it's weird to think about it). I was about to call the front desk to ask how to set up the heater, but found that the phone line was not connected. At that time, I felt that this room was not for people to stay in, so I took my luggage and ran away. Finally, I changed to a room on the ground floor. I had to walk through the courtyard. The windows were not soundproof. Although it was noisy on the roadside, it was at least people's voices, so I stayed there. Other than that, the location is average. York is not big, and almost everything can be reached on foot, but this one is still a little far from the train station. The front desk service is good, and breakfast is provided because I am a Hilton member.

If you have large luggage, I don't recommend booking this hotel. The road from the train station to the hotel is bumpy and not easy to walk. The hotel facilities are old and the floor creaks. In particular, the sound insulation is not good. You can hear everything upstairs, and the sound of cars and motorcycles on the road is endless. There is also the music of the fire truck every night. I don't know why the fire truck is so busy. Don't be fooled by the three words "Hilton" before booking a room
