Zhenpuying Homestay (Furong Town Waterfall Branch) Reviews

The glamping site is very near the observatory deck of Furong waterfalls. The dome tent are quite far away from each other, so you have a bit of privacy in your lawn. There's some space in the platform where you can view the Youshi river and bird watching. At night it's peaceful and you can hear the crickets while sleeping. In the morning you can hear the birds chirping. It was a pleasant stay thought they were not able to provide the breakfast buffet because there were few guest around. But they were able to provide me a simple meal for my breakfast. The hotel also provides free pick-up service to and from the Train station.

The positives... the young staff were helpful and collected us from the station and carried our heavy suitcases. The riverside location could be beautiful and a short walk to the ancient town and the waterfall. However... The main issue was that the pods were filthy on the outside and dirty and mouldy on the inside, including previous guests hair in the shower. The decking and surrounding areas require significant maintenance. The site is overgrown and the paths uneven. The electrics tripped all the time and our air-conditioning didn't work. The included breakfast didn't exist. When we enquired, we were offered coffee sachets. We dont know if the adjacent bar is run by the same people, or separate, but we were charged 170 Yuan for 3 small beers! To put that into perspective, in the next town we visited (Fenghuang, so still touristy) we had 3 large beers and a wonderful dinner for 140 Yuan, which is more typical for Chinese prices. How the high reviews have been gained, we do not know. So much potential, but sadly, it falls so very short. Extremely disappointed.

The hotel is based literally on the scenery area making it easy to enjoy the view today and night . The customer service is 💯. Only issue it’s not as clean but nice high quality bedding and it’s clean .

We are from Thailand, self-guided travel with family. We spent 1 night here in separate 3 rooms. 10/10 Location : This hotel is right next to the scenic viewing platform to see whole waterfall with the old village. You can't see the waterfall from the room (nice for us since we don't want disturbing sound when we sleep) but replace with very beautiful and calm river view. Each room place separately and have different scenery. It's hard to tell which room you would get when you book the room via Trip.com but the 8805 and 8806 we stayed both have wonderful scenery. 10/10 Service : Hotel staff was very helpful. They helped us carry the luggage to the rooms. They don't have enough staffs in my opinion. 8/10 Facilities : Breakfast is easy and delicious. Room and bathroom facilities are just enough. About drop off, they will drop you to the back entrance of Fenghuang Village area. You will need to walk from the road, pass the alley - the ticket gate, then arrive at the hotel entrance not too far. This hotel may not convenient for elderly. 6/10 Cleanliness : Actually it not all that bad. The room 8805 and 8806 were quite clean minus only the air conditioner when we switch to heater, it smell (may be visitors rarely use heater). But the room 8803 is quite dirty (I guess it's because 8803 is not the frequently occupied room but they give us this room because they want us to stay close to each other). And It's such a shame that they have such a beautiful place but didn't take care of the weeds to allow for the full view from the room.

A unique stay in a great location. The room was really lovely and right on the lake. Basic Chinese breakfast included. Comfortable bed. My only complaints are the hot water doesn’t last long, and our included ride to the train station was over 30 minutes late. We made our train with 1 minute to spare, and only because our driver went 130km/hour to get us there in time!

Close to Furong Waterfall, the tent is very clean, by the water, the view is superb, the store is very good, I will stay here again next time.

The environment is good, it feels like living in seclusion in the mountains, but there are no insects and ants to bother you! Clean and sanitary, good service! Although there are not many types of breakfast, fried dough sticks, rice noodles, etc. are quite delicious!

Gorgeous hotel! One of the best where I stayed. Excellent service - met near the train station and took to the hotel. I had a very early departure - the administrator helped call a car. Clean, comfortable rooms. There is everything you need. Nice robes, very nice to put on after a shower. Around Quiet and secluded. The main attraction is nearby - a village with fountains within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

There is a viewing platform outside, where you can see the whole view of Furong Town Waterfall and the sunset at the confluence of Youshui. Beautiful Service: Intimate pick-up and drop-off service, delicious rice noodles for breakfast

The location is good, not far from the observation deck, and it is quite quiet at night. The amenities smell good, not a rip-off. There are a lot of dead leaves on the stairs to the room and outside the room. I don't know why they are not swept. When I ordered, it showed that breakfast was provided, but when I arrived, it said that it was not.

A treasure homestay in a quiet place in the bustling city, with pleasant scenery. The store manager and the front desk guys and girls are super enthusiastic, the service is perfect, and the breakfast rice noodles are delicious 😋 There is a waterfall viewing platform next to the door of the homestay. The night view is super beautiful at night. During the day, you can drink tea and watch the mountains and water on the terrace of the room ^_^

If I come again next time, I will stay at your house. It will be a different accommodation experience. The environment is very good and the location is very convenient.

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in China. The room is amazing, all the amenities you need are there, you are alone with nature, but at the same time very close to the main attraction. Very friendly and helpful staff. I am delighted, thank you very much!

The B&B is a stand-alone building in the bamboo forest. Each tent is far away from each other, so it's quite quiet! But you have to carry your luggage for a long time. Although the staff will help you carry it, it's tiring to go up and down the stairs. I'm quite satisfied with the surrounding environment. There is a waterfall viewing platform at the door of the B&B, where you can see the whole Furong Town night view waterfall, which is very beautiful! The only drawback is that the hot water suddenly ran out, and I was washing my hair with cold water. It was past 11 o'clock, so I changed rooms temporarily. There were many bugs on the quilt, and the quilt was also dirty. I made do with it for one night.
