"This was a nice guest room above a lively bar/restaurant. Ensuite bathroom, comfy bed, smart TV (need your own account if you want to watch Netflix, iPlayer, etc), and WiFi. Town centre and Yeovil Park are within walking distance (luckily the roadworks had pedestrian access). If you're exploring the wider Somerset, a car is required. No breakfast provided sadly (I went to Morrisons for cooked breakfast and Lidl for continental, both ~5 minutes away), but they have good lunch/evening food which they can take up to your room."

"This is a lovely friendly pub. Rooms clean and comfortable. The landlady was very welcoming. They have only had the pub a few months and she did appear to be short staffed at times but managed well and was super friendly and honest about this. Rooms a bit short on tea and coffee making supplies but nothing else to complain about and they did attempt to rectify this. Rooms accessible for elderly parents. Both Father and Husband had a fabulous trip to Haynes Motor Museum which is just up the road! Great access from A303 if breaking up a trip."

"There were some issues in the kitchen which made the service slower than normal but… Wayne DM was an extremely attentive and friendly employee (manager?). He apologised repeatedly, offered us a free drink and went to cook the food himself. The pizzas were delicious and arrived piping hot and crispy. He came over and we had a lovely chat. "I have stayed many times over the past 8 years and have never experienced any of the issues in the reviews. If there are any problems they were rectified immediately. They advertise as rooms only and have everything you need for your stay. There is a manager living on site and we have always found the owners to be friendly,approachable,hard working and professional-perhaps the owners dry sense of humour was misconstrued! The car park is small re the original inns layout,but there is a car park near the theatre that has plenty of space-in fact the Premier Inn in Yeovil doesn't have a car park and you have to use the car parks nearby. If you walk through a passage way it brings you to the small high street with shops,restaurants,Tesco and a couple of pubs close by."
