OYO The Walnut Tree
"Reserved a table for supper. After an indifferent welcome in an impersonal atmosphere, there was no table reserved, and we were told to find a seat. The restaurant smelled of dogs, unsurprisingly as there were several dogs barking. We sat in the breakfast room which had no ambience and surrounded by breakfast prep. We decided to leave - very disappointing."
Travelodge Hotel - Yeovil Podimore
"The staff treated me badly after coming out of a domestically violent relationship saying in sarcastic voices and pretending to cry as they said awwee shed been abused ! Then lying to management about this incident. I got asked to leave and the staff remain . I will be reporting them all to the police so they can investigate it all. . I would not recommend this hotel"
Manor Hotel by Greene King Inns
"Comfy mattress amazing breakfast and service at breakfast will deffo stay again as good value money"
Premier Inn Yeovil Airfield
"Great location for this hotel for my weekend stay. Rooms were clean, reception staff very friendly and helpful. Loads of parking. The restaurant was also very good, dinners were lovely (shout out to Ryan the chef). Other staff also very welcoming, Wayne the duty manager deserves a mention as his team are excellent."
Northover Manor Hotel
"Very accommodating and friendly having a double room booked with preference for a twin, the kind lady made the necessary arrangements."
The Terrace Lodge Hotel
"A very convenient location, just minutes from the bus station. And the room was comfortable and pleasant to stay at. I really enjoyed that my room had a bath as I needed to unwind at the end of the day."
Quicksilver Mail
"This was a nice guest room above a lively bar/restaurant. Ensuite bathroom, comfy bed, smart TV (need your own account if you want to watch Netflix, iPlayer, etc), and WiFi. Town centre and Yeovil Park are within walking distance (luckily the roadworks had pedestrian access). If you're exploring the wider Somerset, a car is required. No breakfast provided sadly (I went to Morrisons for cooked breakfast and Lidl for continental, both ~5 minutes away), but they have good lunch/evening food which they can take up to your room."
Lanes Hotel
"The room, hotel environment, and hotel services are all very good!"

"In common with other reviewers the breakfast was a shambles. The cook can only cook each breakfast 'to order'. What this means in practice is that he can only cook each breakfast individually - i.e. just 1 at a time. This means that breakfast takes far too long - waiting 40-60 minutes is not unusual. Coupled with the rudeness of the waitress you are better off going to Wetherspoons next door where breakfast is served quickly and politely."
Sparkford Inn
"We came here for Sunday lunch and I cant thank the staff enough for the help they gave me with our autistic son, they found somewhere quiet and checked with him.if the table was OK for him and they even asked what he would like from the carvery and bought it over for him so he didnt have to queue up. The food was amazing and hot, my son even had a pudding and wanted to stay and watch the football, we have never stayed out so long. We will definitely be back. Amazing value for money I would highly recommend."
Eton House - Self Check-in, Ensuite Rooms & Self-Catering Studios
Shippon Barn
Liongate House
"Liz & Graeme are supper friendly, the B&B was a sea change for them and they run it fantastically. Nothing is too much trouble, from tea and cake in the garden and the most delicious breakfast. It was a true pleasure to stay there. Bedroom was supper comfy and everything you needed, inc little touches like "make up, face clothes" fan provided in the mini heat wave the UK was having. It's in a lovely village location, with a really great pub where the food was excellent. We stayed here on the off chance as our plans changed but would definitely stay here again, but for a couple of nights next time. There is also parking"
