Xining Romantic Manwu Theme Hotel

I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel and it was undoubtedly one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this establishment does not prioritize cleanliness or guest satisfaction. There was nobody to pick up calls and the location was hard to find. We phoned the hotel till we gave up. First, upon arrival, there was no one at reception to welcome guests. I waited for over 30 minutes before someone finally showed up, and even then, the check-in process was slow and disorganized. It felt as if I was an inconvenience rather than a valued guest. When I finally got to my room, I was met with an overpowering stench emanating from the bathroom. The smell was unbearable, suggesting a severe lack of hygiene and maintenance. It was clear that the bathroom hadn't been properly cleaned in quite some time. There was mold on the tiles and grime in the corners. I had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times to avoid the foul odor permeating the rest of the room. The room itself was far from clean. Everything smelled cigarettes. It was horrible, and there was visible dust on the furniture. The bed linens did not appear to be freshly laundered, and I even found hair on the sheets. The overall state of the room was incredibly disappointing and made for an uncomfortable stay. Adding to the unpleasant experience, the hotel's common areas were just as dirty. The hallways had a musty smell, and the elevators were sticky and grimy. It was evident that cleanliness is not a priority at this hotel. In summary, my stay at this hotel was a nightmare from start to finish. With a smelly bathroom, dirty room, and nonexistent reception service, this hotel fails in every aspect of hospitality. I would strongly advise against staying here and recommend finding alternative accommodation where guests are treated with the care and respect they deserve. On top of this some strange man woke me up while I was sleeping. It is obvious he was looking for hotel staff to assist him and found no one and just knocked at random doors.
