The hotel doesn't have air conditioning, but they actually use a boiler. Several friends woke up because of the heat and asked them to turn on the air conditioning. The hotel said it was not the season and they didn't turn it on. They asked me to open the window and door. Finally, they sent a fan and ice cubes, and I could barely sleep. It was amazing! I have never heard of a hotel without air conditioning. After all, it is Hilton! Are they so short of electricity? They also explained that this is the same practice for all hotels in Xining! None of us slept well!
