Road construction was ongoing right outside the entrance, but the hotel staff proactively called us to inform us. The glass sliding door in our room was quite heavy, which made it difficult for a woman to open and close. For breakfast, they even steamed the shellfish we collected from the beach yesterday – big thumbs up for that! 👍🏻 Being right by the sea, it's naturally quite humid, so the occasional mildew spots were understandable and acceptable.

The cleanliness was good, the service excellent, and the staff were very polite. The guesthouse itself offers lovely sea views. The only major drawback was the road construction, which made that stretch of road incredibly difficult to navigate. It completely put us off going out and exploring, so we just ended up spending the whole day playing mahjong at the guesthouse.

This is undoubtedly the best boutique guesthouse in Xiapu, especially when it comes to service. The location is excellent, being close to dining options and attractions. It offers great value for money and, crucially, avoids the traffic congestion often found in areas like Dongbi. The breakfast is beautifully prepared, the place itself is very photogenic, and the service is truly outstanding. I highly recommend it!
