"I was quite satisfied with the Mercure hotel in Xi'An and I got really great help from the staff. Mainly a lady named SUNNY who were able to speak english very well. She even brought me great support during her resting time by ordering food for me, The only thing for a foreigner is that it was not easy to find, just around the hotel, a nice place to eat or have a drink. Also, the breakfast in the hotel was veryday the same with very little choice. Still, I will still use this hotel next time I go to Xi'An as quality/price is is a great value."

"The hotel was very well located for shopping , Xian Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter. The staff were friendly and welcoming although English was very limited. The hotel itself was very clean and skinny smelled of oranges. It would be good if they could put this scent in the corridors too as I suspect some guests smoke in the corridors. Breakfast was a Chinese buffet. It was satisfactory. This hotel feels like a good 3 star hotel. The hotel is in the middle of a night club area and so is noisy at night. The hotel did warn us of this on arrival and upgraded us to a quieter room, although it was still a bit noisy. We didn’t really mind as it was only 2 nights. We are an older couple in our 50s from Australia. I think we should have stayed near Pagoda Square. This hotel and area would be better for younger couples who like to make the most of the evenings."

"The facilities were good, staff were generally helpful and nice. Very clean environment; generally has what you need. Very conveniently located. Some of the staff at the front desk are a bit too immature and could act a bit more professional. Apparently, they find it funny for you ask them for water; ask them a few more times and they would giggle and laugh behind your back and make fun of you; they might even horse around with you if Mandarin is not your first language and you don't speak as natively as they do. I made an add on booking for an extra night. If you need them to do anything towards the end of your stay, they might withhold service at the front desk until you give them a perfect rating; they wouldn't check me back in the hotel until I left a good rating/comment for my first booking. They forgot I that I could also rate / comment for my second booking. Basically a bunch of kids. Otherwise, hotel management seems fine. Pretty clean, the staff were generally polite."

The fitness center, indoor pool, and spa were great for relaxation. Located near Tang Paradise and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, it's perfect for sightseeing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Overall, a luxurious and memorable experience. Highly recommend!"

"We arrived at Xi'an North railway station from Chongqing around 11.30 pm. So, ibis hotel is one of the nearest hotels. We arrived by taxi & it costs only 10 Yuan & it is refundable by ibis hotel 👍. We washed & dried our clothes before traveling to our next destination. Breakfast is also nice & my son really loves the yogurt drink. The next morning, we went to the nearest subway station going to Xi'an city centre. It is walking distance & very convenient for our family of 3 (2 adults + 5 year old kid)."

It was Valentine's Day and when I returned to the room at night, I saw the roses and Ferrero Rocher chocolates carefully prepared by the housekeeper. It was so sweet! All toiletries are Jo Loves by Jo Malone. The digital shower system has a lot of water and displays the bath water temperature in real time. You can adjust it to your favorite temperature every time without having to try hot and cold. The location is inside the north gate of the city wall and it is very convenient to take a taxi anywhere.
