Popular Xi＇an 4-star Hotels

The hotel is located next to the Bell Tower, with a bus stop at the entrance of the alley. It is also close to the airport shuttle bus and has a 24-hour laundry room. Although it is small, it also has a dryer. We even went to see China's giant pandas, which was fantastic

The hotel was in a very good location. Just a walking distance to the muslim street. As we are muslim, it is easy to find halal food around the area. We were allocated with a good room that has a view of the Bell Tower. We also really grateful for the assistance by Ms Xiaolei at the front desk for making our check in smooth and our whole stay a pleasant one. The location is also easy to get around either by Didi or by subway. Overall we had a good experience and will not mind going again to the hotel in the future. And hopefully for the same room.

Didn’t have opportunities to dining in at the hotel itself, since there are so many local food choices, but can definitely say that their customer services are among the top notches. Smooth check-in/out, free laundry amenities, conveniently located in the heart of Xi’an (Bell Tower area), which makes it easy to reach pretty much everywhere in and around Xi’an. Really appreciated Ningning’s help towards our laundry need! Believe me, laundry is equally an important part of our journey during our stay in China, since we were traveling during the summer time. Overall, it is a good lodging venue!

Our stay at Hesu Designer Hotel was absolutely lovely! The hotel is beautiful, with a great location near the center, making it convenient to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly nice and friendly, going out of their way to help us despite the language barrier, as we don’t speak Mandarin. A special shoutout to the front desk team and to Xiao Wang, who assisted us throughout our stay. The team made us feel so welcome, always offering us coffee and making sure we were comfortable. At the end of our stay, they even surprised us with a lovely gift (picture). The hotel also provided fantastic recommendations for attractions and restaurants, which made our trip so much easier and enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Xi’an!

A good clean hotel It's situated about 5 mins taxi drive from the the main business centre but Didi or taxi is readily available The rooms are well cleaned The laundry and gym is of good standard The reception staff can do better as I felt awkward except for two female staff who are more courteous Otherwise, you are on your own

Candy Tang, one of the Front Desk staff, she was so professional, sleek and very customer friendly, especially that I am a foreigner and my Chinese Language is limited. very quiet room, floor and surroundings. My special requests were granted since it is not peak season. The rooms and bathrooms are spot on and amenities inside the room works and their Wi-Fi connection speed is great! Overall, five star rating to this Hotel! Strongly recommended.

Overall stay was great. The location was perfect. Warm nice rooms. But then I went for breakfast. I had a train scheduled for 9am and hoping to have a quick breakfast and leave. 7:05 the door the restaurant is closed. I knocked on the door saying I have a train later…no reaction. I went to the front desk to show them it’s closed. No reaction…well… it’s 7:15 and I’m still by the door

The hotel is conveniently located within the city walls, making it suitable for exploring Xi’an. While it’s not situated in the liveliest area—which some might see as a pro and others as a con—it’s only a 15-minute walk to the South Gate, a major landmark. At the South Gate, you can purchase a ticket for 54 RMB to access the city wall, where you can walk or cycle (bikes can be rented for 45 RMB for 3 hours). Bars along the wall open after 7 PM, adding to the experience. The hotel offers a Chinese breakfast, which is edible but sometimes served cold. The rooms provide a view, though not of the most interesting parts of the city. Convenience stores are located nearby. The bed is comfortable, but room cleanliness could be improved, as there’s visible fluff floating in the air. The room is spacious and cozy but dimly lit due to the lack of central lighting. The small bathtub is only suitable for sitting, and there’s a large gap between the bathroom door and the shower glass wall, which compromises privacy. The airport shuttle service is convenient but may take longer if multiple stops are required to pick up guests from other hotels. It’s advisable not to book a Terracotta Army tour through the hotel. Instead, call a Didi to the site and pay 80–100 RMB per person for a guide.

I saw two bugs flying before going to bed. I booked a courtyard suite specifically for the view, but the glass was dirty and I didn't want to pull up the curtains... The tables and chairs in the courtyard were a bit rusty... I didn't dare to sit. The toiletries in the room were left over from the previous guests. The shampoo was only at the bottom of the bottle, and the others were half full. However, the service was very good, and they would help deliver anything I needed, and it was very quiet. The location is good, next to the snack street of Sajin Bridge, and the transportation is also very convenient.

Pros - Perfect location, right in front of Xi'an bell tower, 10m from metro entrance. Great range of breakfast bar (starts at 7am) from chinese dishes, pastry, yogurt, soy milk, coffee, to local delights order counter as well. Taste good. Free tea break from 2pm to 4pm. Packed breakfast service with pastries available if unable to dine in due to super early trip schedule. Clean & comfortable bed. Room space is acceptable. All toiletrie, shampoo, body wash, toothbrush etc. were provided. Front desk responsive on feedback/enquiries. Having temporary luggage storage service after check out. Cons - Do Not Disturb button not functioning after taking out the room card. Cleaner in my room when we were temporarily out for breakfast and our belongings were exposed that time.
