Manxin Hotel Wuyishan Resort

We visited Wuyishan National Park to experience the beauty of Fujian and stayed at the Manxin Hotel in Sangu Resort. Its prime location is close to the scenic area's north and south gates, the old street, and the Impression Dahongpao performance. There are also numerous restaurants, supermarkets, and tea shops nearby, making it very convenient for dining, drinking, and shopping. Amenities: The family suite we booked was a 45-square-meter suite with two comfortable queen-size beds. The room was equipped with electric curtains, two large LCD TVs, a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and powerful central air conditioning. Cleanliness: Very clean, with prompt room service and abundant amenities. Environment: Located at the foot of Wuyi Mountain, the terrace offers close-up views and a pleasant air. Service: The hotel is very gracious and the service is excellent. Every time we left and returned, the front desk thoughtfully offered us mineral water, provided tourist guides, and provided Huazhu members with discounted breakfasts and late checkout. Facilities: For a chain hotel, the hotel offers a complete range of amenities, including a washing machine, dryer, and gym. The in-room TVs are lackluster, and the smart controls are limited to curtain control and a silent card-switching entry system. The elevator requires a key card reader, but the delivery driver can pick up the card at the front desk. Cleanliness: The cleanliness is acceptable, with no issues. Environment: The location is a bit far from the main tourist area, but there's a bus stop nearby, serving major routes, making taxis easily accessible. Several popular restaurants are nearby, including Lan Gu Po Xi, Zhu Zi Snacks, and Shen's Auntie Smoked Goose. Next door is a long-established guangbing (steamed bun) shop that's delicious and reasonably priced compared to the commercial street. Service: Overall, the service was acceptable. They greeted us upon arrival and departure, added us on WeChat, and shared a tourist map upon check-in. However, the overall service wasn't as proactive and attentive as previous Huazhu Hui hotels. Minor issues included a lack of childcare supplies when checking in with children, and the room still hadn't been cleaned when we returned for lunch.
