"Amazing location, friendly staff. The vibe and decor of the hotel was quite dated to be honest (felt a bit like The Shining) but as I was just there on an overnight stay it wasn't too much of an issue. The bed was very comfortable and the water was hot so I can't say I wouldn't stay again!"

"Worst hotel I have ever lived in. The rooms smell very bad, the toilets are not clean. The blankets have dust on them. Honestly it's better to stay in the train station than at this hotel. For the price, it's the worst value for money. Even if they cut the prices by half I would never recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Lovely location and with a nice view of the Cathedral and the bridge. The breakfast was in a beautiful well lit section but I didn't really get a chance to enjoy it due to my job infant son who was very needy."

Diglis House Hotel

"Bank Holiday Monday visit to Worcester included an impromptu Lunch at Diglis House Hotel. The receptionist was very welcoming and pleasant; a good start! Ordering lunch at the bar was sadly where things started to go bad. Despite a very clear and orderly queue for the bar, the first available bar-woman, a short lady with short dark hair - completely ignored me; literally looked through me and served a tall young blonde guy behind me; when I tried to raise objection she literally looked through me; interesting that the young guy failed to protest too... When the food arrived; for me a Cheese and Onion Baguette; despite good prompt service - it was 'lacking.' Calling the limp, damp tube of bread a baguette in France would have earned them a prison sentence; it was quite honestly like a 'part-baked' baguette from the supermarket, that hadn't been finished in its bake before serving... devoid of any butter, spread or mayo, perhaps because they thought it damp-enough without, I left much of it. As for the Cheese and Onion, it's total loose volume couldn't have been greater than a golf-ball. Not at all what I expected - for £13. Lovely venue with an interesting history, I will I'm afraid, not be returning their to be ignored and provided with food that wouldn't even stand-up in a sub-sidised work canteen."
