TownePlace Suites Windsor

Hotel is great, we got the 2 queens bed + sofa suite. Room was spacious. I like how this hotel has a full kitchen, stove, full fridge, etc. Breakfast was amazing, a lot of options. You can make your own waffles, pancakes, eggs, oatmeal, they had banana bread and more. Staff was kind. If you go on the weekend street parking is free after 6pm even over night till Monday

Location was quite under-whelming compared to other TownePlace Suites And Marriot Residence Inn we have stayed over the years.

We have stayed at this location several times and it always great! Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. I highly recommend this hotel if you are planning on coming to Windsor

The hotel had no heat. They knew this when we checked in and neglected to tell us. We dropped our luggage and when we returned after 10pm we walked into a freezing room. The front desk told us it was broken and wasn't getting fixed because maintenance left at 6pm. After calling the Marriott 1-800 number we reached a supervisor who informed us it had been out for at least a day and confirmed it wasn't getting fixed. We were offered nothing except more blankets. I eventually got a space heater the front desk was using for themselves. We received no compensation and no apology. Second night I mentioned to the front desk and they discounted the second night. The heat was supposedly fixed and it went out middle of the night again. Went downstairs middle of the night for the space heater again. When I turned it in they gave us 10k points. Parking: the hotel has no parking anymore they offered only streat parking which requires an app or cash only lot across the street. We got stuck driving around for 20min until finally the front desk offered to change cash for us. Check in: requested a high floor room and was put on the lowest possible floor. The only bright spot was the breakfast. Their breakfast was fresh and staff was incredible especially Henkha. I'll note our entire family stayed next door at the Hilton property and we stayed here due to previous good stays. The trauma from this stay has me relooking at staying at any Marriott anywhere.
