Een zeer warm welkom door eigenaren Dries en Renette. Regelen de reservering bij een goed restaurant (Het Stellenbosch) en bellen een vriendelijke taxi Tomas op die je brengt en weer ophaalt bij het restaurant . Mooie kamer en heerlijk gezwommen in het zwembad. Lekker relaxed op het terras en op het grasveld(je). Tuin staat vol met mooie planten en bomen…echt een oase! Goed geslapen en een prima ontbijt met voldoende keuze. Echt een aanrader als je aankomt of juist vertrekt vanuit Windhoek. Heel aardige en vriendelijke mensen….fantastisch verblijf!!! A&M

The owner took a personal interest in our comfort. The overall setting was very pleasant and peaceful. Breakfast offered a variety of options, with staff at the ready for questions or assistance.

We had a well needed rest day and night after a journey through the desert. We were lucky to enjoy an early check in. This place is a home away from home. Just to unwind and relax. Clean, well maintained rooms and main areas. But what really speaks for itself is the heartwarming owner and host Renette and her husband. Renette offered us exceptional service and I would anytime choose House on Olof Palme for my stay in Windhoek.

Very high quality accommodation in a quiet suburb. If you are so inclined you could walk into the city centre in about 45 min but it can be too hot. The facilities provided are excellent and the hosts extremely helpful and courteous. One of the best B&B I have had the pleasure in staying.

Private, kleine Lodge in nördlicher Vorort-Lage von Windhoek. Umfangreich und liebevoll dekoriert strahlt das B&B ein angenehmes familiäres Feeling aus. Die Zimmer sind um einen Innenhof mit Pool und Griller angeordnet. Unser Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, insbesondere die Vielfalt der Steckdosenvarianten (namibisch bis europäisch) haben wir noch selten vorgefunden. Die Betten fanden wir ausgezeichnet. Dass da manches hakt und aus dem Winkel ist oder eine Auffrischung benötigt, hat uns nicht gestört, das unterstützt nur das private Feeling. Wer klinische, gesichtslose Präzision sucht, ist im House on Olof Palme sicher falsch und besser bei einer der großen Hotelketten aufgehoben. Die privaten Betreiber sind ausnehmend nett und hilfsbereit - von der Buchung für das Abendessen bis zur Organisation eines Taxis bringt man jede Unterstützung. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht und wären gerne länger geblieben.
