We stayed here one night after our arrival in Windhoek. The hosts were very friendly and lovely and gave us tips and support for our stay in Windhoek. The accommodation is great, the breakfast includes everything you need and the car is parked safely. An absolute recommendation.

From Renata’s warm welcome to the clean and well appointed rooms The House on Olof Palme provides a relaxing and secluded haven only a short taxi ride to the city centre. An excellent breakfast and attention to detail make this one of our top 5 guest houses in the world with perhaps the most comfortable beds of any hotel, pension or guest house we have ever spent a night in.

Een zeer warm welkom door eigenaren Dries en Renette. Regelen de reservering bij een goed restaurant (Het Stellenbosch) en bellen een vriendelijke taxi Tomas op die je brengt en weer ophaalt bij het restaurant . Mooie kamer en heerlijk gezwommen in het zwembad. Lekker relaxed op het terras en op het grasveld(je). Tuin staat vol met mooie planten en bomen…echt een oase! Goed geslapen en een prima ontbijt met voldoende keuze. Echt een aanrader als je aankomt of juist vertrekt vanuit Windhoek. Heel aardige en vriendelijke mensen….fantastisch verblijf!!! A&M

The owner took a personal interest in our comfort. The overall setting was very pleasant and peaceful. Breakfast offered a variety of options, with staff at the ready for questions or assistance.

We had a well needed rest day and night after a journey through the desert. We were lucky to enjoy an early check in. This place is a home away from home. Just to unwind and relax. Clean, well maintained rooms and main areas. But what really speaks for itself is the heartwarming owner and host Renette and her husband. Renette offered us exceptional service and I would anytime choose House on Olof Palme for my stay in Windhoek.
