From the welcome we received we arrived until the friendly goodbye we left everything was outstanding. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless, breakfast was excellent, the sausages were so tasty. We would one hundred percent recommend The Westbourne and definitely return there.

We have just returned home after a wonderful week staying at The Westbourne. Greg and Angela are the new owners and are very welcoming. We had a very comfy room with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect. There is plenty of parking too.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Westbourne. We were welcomed by the delightful friendly hosts as we prepared for our 3 night stay. The Westbourne is well positioned to easily visit both Windermere and Bowness on Windermere. The room was spotlessly clean and the delicious breakfast was cooked perfectly.

Angela and Craig were great hosts and very attentive throughout our weekend. The hotel is in a great position for walking down into Bowness in about 10 mins . The rooms are spacious , well appointed and very clean . The breakfast is an extra charge but well worth the money, excellent ingredients and choice . We will definitely recommend the Westbourne to anyone who asks and we will happily return here on our next visit . Thank you for everything

We have just checked out after two nights stay at The Westbourne. Angela and Greg are a lovely couple and have apparently only just taken over the business a week ago, not that you would know it. Our stay was absolutely perfect in every way. Large, clean rooms with a very comfy bed. The breakfast was gorgeous. During our stay we got engaged and whilst out walking the next day they had put a bottle of Prosecco in a chiller in our room which was so lovely of them to do. We intend booking again soon as this is the perfect location to explore the area. Thank you again for making our stay so memorable.

Great little hotel / B&B friendly owners/staff, comfortable well equipped rooms in a great location easy walk to town facilities. Comfy beds and one of the best breakfasts I’ve experienced in a B&B ! Highly recommend! Bowness is a lovely spot to enjoy the lake, might sound odd but it’s very touristy !! But a few minutes drive and you can really see the beauty of the Lake District so this establishment is an ideal base.

The Westbourne here was a great value, and included breakfast. They had gluten-free toast for me, and our selections were made to order. We ate in a little room nicely decorated to the side of the common room. Lovely setting. The room was small, but we had our own bathroom and shower, and the suitcases fit under the bed nicely when open. If you are of a larger size, you might have difficulty moving around. The staff were wonderfully kind and attentive to our needs. The location was ideal for walking down to the lake where we got a boat ride, and was near many restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!
