"Stayed in two sea facing rooms travelling the Garden route. Very easy to find and lovely greeting on arrival with a drink overlooking the bay. A quick tour was provided and we quickly settled in to the amazing rooms with a fantastic ocean view with dolphins and whales to watch. We had a walk in the stunning beach one morning and eat in the restaurant both nights. Food was excellent in price , quality and presentation as was the service. Parking very easy and staff helpful ( but avoid laundry service as it was crazy expensive ie £60 for one bag) and more expensive than a great meal for 4 with wine in the restaurant. Spa was ok but gym very small and open to non residents In summary highly recommended for a couple of nights stay. Hotel was very quiet but just coming into spring so not unexpected."

"We spent a single night in Wilderness, which is a fantastic destination to visit. While the Wilderness Hotel boasts a great location and an impressive exterior, the rooms themselves have seen better days—they felt quite tired and in need of some updates. Noise was also an issue, as the doors open directly onto the hallway, making for a less peaceful stay. That said, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the buffet breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options to start the day. While the hotel wasn’t the highlight of our trip, we truly appreciated the hospitality and the prime location. With a bit of refurbishment, it could be a much more enjoyable stay."

"Super lovely stay here :) Paul is such a friendly host and check in was quick and easy. We stayed in Rhea cottage and it was spotlessly clean and absolutely beautiful, with views across the lagoon. We had everything we needed and the attention to detail and design is wonderful. Loved the location - easy 10 min walk to town and the beach. We loved it so much we booked back in for 1 more night in No 1 cottage a few days later, which was also super lovely. Thank you Paul for our great stay :)"
