Abbotsleigh of Whitby

We’re just home from a weekend staying in the Abbotsleigh. Our room was beautiful, warm and super comfortable. The breakfast quality and choice was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rob & Anita were very helpful and great hosts. Thank you. Lisa & Paul.

A lovely place to stay, with a warm welcome from friendly hosts and a fabulous breakfast. We stayed in the Kelp room, and although it was quite a small room it worked well for a few nights and had everything we needed. The whole place was clean and comfortable and we will definitely stay again.

Beautiful clean and stylish B&B, very comfortable rooms with great amenities. The hosts Rob and Anita were very welcoming and we were even able to check in earlier than agreed. The breakfast was freshly cooked by Anita and couldn’t be faulted. On our next visit to Whitby we will definitely return. Thank you Rob and Anita.

Fantastic B&B! Lovely owners! The rooms are excellent! Lovely comfy bed, plenty of added extras, nespresso, tea coffee, chocolates and biscuits! Lovely en-suite with walking shower, well presented, very clean and well decorated! Breakfast 10/10 very filling with lovely fresh ingredients! Great service! The breakfast and the hosts are magnificent. Nothing was too much trouble and very knowledgeable about places to see. The room was well equipped and clean. This is absolutely genuine review and this was a return visit. Even the weather was kind.

Anita & Bobby were exceptional hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Their establishment is bursting with warmth, charm, and character on every floor and wall. Our room was absolutely beautiful—spotless and stylishly decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and immaculate. The facilities in the room were thoughtfully designed, accommodating for anyone staying there. We appreciated the little fridge stocked with complimentary milk and water, along with a coffee pod machine, biscuits, and chocolates. Every morning, the breakfast room was a lovely haven to start the day. It truly was charming. The breakfast menu was mind-blowing with a variety of cooked meal options, plus there was always fresh fruit, yogurt, and pastries available for those who preferred a lighter breakfast. A special thank you to Anita & Bobby for the generous and thoughtful gift of Prosecco for my partner’s birthday. Simply the best. We will definitely be staying here again!
