"They are all girls who love to be clean. It’s good, the world cannot exist without girls. It’s just that it’s hard to find it when it’s dark. The train was delayed for the first time and I couldn’t find the way late at night. Google Navigation ****** me and went around to the other side. There was also a little fox with green eyes. It was the only one at night. Just the green eyes are dazzling, and the hair on the hair is standing on end. The next day I discovered that the road next to it was a cemetery. It's quite scary. It's easy to find at dawn."

"Fantastic stay beautiful room with view towards the Heartbeat garage and pub food amazing we had the stuffed chicken Sunday dinner (see photos) £16.95 and what a meal it was with huge crunchy home made Yorkshire pudding huge dish of fresh veg 4 different items cooked red cabbage turnip broccoli stems and cauliflower florets chicken so tender all cooked to perfection. John smiths at £4.50 a pint .room was just out of this world looked like a brand new bathroom with shower bath and the latest designs. Milk and bottles of water in the fridge . No wonder all the Heartbeat stars stay here when attending the annual event . See my photos to see why we recommend this place . It was packed solid with walk in diners on Sunday 12 July 2026 all enjoying the beautiful food and beers . Well done all the staff who were so nice and friendly and working so hard. We will be back soon . Best hotel pub in the UK."

"Lovely room (room 1) overlooking the harbour. Only downside to it was the people in the room above walking around lots during the early hours of the morning (2am) then again from 6am.., what were you doing, the mind boggles?? Lovely breakfast in the morning. Great location in Whitby. Carpark about 5 mins walk, cost us £11.80 for 24 hours. Check in staff could have been a little more friendly, but the ladies at breakfast were really nice."

"My family and I stayed here and we highly recommend it. Lorraine is very hospitable and made us feel comfortable and at ease in her establishment, she was also very quick to respond to any queries we had before our stay. The family room was clean, comfy and met all of our needs. The bed itself is very comfy, we slept so well. In the morning we helped ourselves to toast, juice and a pastry from the breakfast bar outside our room in the morning. Parking was not an issue either, the walk to the main bit of Whitby was about 20 minutes and yes there is a bit of an uphill walk on the way back but we didn't struggle with it. Would definitely stay again."
