Good size room clean and location. Responsive owners/staff given I we booked at the last minute. Reasonable value for money.

A lovely hotel to stay at. We stayed for 2 nights. The location was perfect for us, as we had access to the beach in around 5 minutes and around a 5 minute walk into the town centre. When we walked into the entrance hallway, it felt instantly like an inviting hotel, with bright colours and leaflets and information regarding the local area. The room access code was sent by email, so no trouble in locating a key. This code access was easy to follow too. We found the room to be very clean and tidy, with a nice welcoming selection of teas, hot chocolate and biscuits. The toilet and shower facilities were clean, user friendly and sufficient for our stay, with nice smelling handwash, body wash and shampoo. There was a helpful sign in the bathroom asking for patience for the hot water, but we didn’t want more than 30 seconds for it to be delightfully hot. The hairdryer was accessible and easy to use too. The bed was made well, with the mattress being a sprung feel but comfortable. Plenty of plug sockets to use around the room and near the bed. Parking can be tricky, but that is not the hotel’s issue, and is to be expected in a seaside town- the parking permit for 2 days was a fantastic deal. This can be easily purchased before you arrive, through the Lily Rose Hotel directly. The scratch card style permit was ready for us in our hotel room, with easy directions to follow on how to use it. We had friendly and smiley interactions with staff, who always asked how the stay was and if there was anything we needed. We will happily come back to this hotel, thank you for a pleasant stay and making our stay so easy!

Enjoyed the LilyRose, as it was clean and really handily placed on the West side of Whitby. Very well kept with easy booking through a telephone call.
