Charming hotel in a quiet part of the town. The hotel is conveniently located for the main station, mountain railway and the town. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean, even if the bed and floor creaked. Breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this beautiful toen.

Kurzurlaub im Hotel Am Anger war gut. Frühstück als Buffet in Ordnung, Zimmer schön eingerichtet, nettes Personal, täglich Reinigung, Preise im oberen Bereich. Liegt zentral Nähe Bahnhof, Rathaus und Harzer Schmalspurbahn. Parkplatz für Pkw wird extra berechnet. Für Kurzurlaub max. 5 Tage okay, für längere Zeit gibt es genügend andere preiswertere Unterkünfte.

Nach 28 Jahren waren wir wieder hier zum Kurzurlaub. Alles in allem sehr positiv. Frühstück reichhaltig als Buffet, für jeden etwas dabei, Zimmer sauber und ordentlich, Wohlfühlfaktor sehr hoch. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit, Hotel liegt im Zentrum, aber im Hinterhof mit Blick zum Schloss aus unserem Zimmer 17, ruhig gelegen, Bahnhof, Rathaus und Schmalspurbahn zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Parkplatz für Auto auf dem eigenen Hotelparkplatz 7 €, aber das ist nun überall üblich. Wir kommen wieder. Empfehlenswert!!!
