I arrived at Warsaw's central station, so it was a little far, about a 30-minute walk, but it was close to the center of the old town. When I asked the reception, they lent me towels and a hair dryer for free. The room and common areas were very clean.

Good location, close to everything.... It could be much better! The place and the facilities have a lot of potential! Beds with curtains would be ideal to have a little more privacy, since some guests stay in the room looking out!

First time staying in a hostel in my life and first time traveling alone. So I don't know what kind of room to reserve. It wasn't specified that it was an all-female room. Made me worry and couldn't sleep most of the night when I got a dormitory room. But luckily I found a good roommate. Room cleanliness is reasonably good, but shared bathrooms may be difficult to maintain. Very good location, able to easily go to various tourist spots. The staff are very helpful.

The hot water is not hot enough, the location is good, it doesn't matter if it's cheap

I have a bit mixed feelings after my stay in Tatamka. I must definitely admit that the location is very good, close to almost everywhere. The apartment is also well-equipped and relatively clean. However, something that bothered me immediately after entering the apartment was the smell. It's supposed to be a smoking ban, but the smell of cigarettes immediately hits your nose. The apartment needed to be ventilated immediately. When it comes to the surroundings, there is practically everything you need at hand. Right after leaving the apartment, there are a lot of shops, cafes, etc. The price is also affordable. Just improve the cleaning and, above all, do not allow smoking in the rooms, because it may be a big problem for, for example, a family with children.

Impossible to sleep due to polish ɓehaving like animals outside, 24/7 strong noises on the street, always woke up with headache if I managed to sleep 4h. One night I even had to find another staying. Unfortunately all other places were occupied because of the concerts or I would have left immediately. Price was really high just because of the concerts, I paid 80 euro for a night, for 30 eur I had found a nice air bnb with private room but unfortunately just for 1 night was available. Scam. The hostel itself is clean and equipped, very spacious (I was in the top floors). The very first time I saw it wanted to leave because it looked soviet from outside and that's not the best start. Also as soon as I went through the stairs saw a man without shirt stinking of alcohol, seemed like a street ****, so I wasn't feeling safe. The climate became better when other people from the concert came and felt more without weirdos. Overall the hostel itself was nice but if you can't sleep it defeats the purpose of being there, just not worth. Will choose an air bnb next time and book in advance, to avoid lack of free spots like this time. Won't come back again. If you see street is noisy, insulate the windows. It seems many polish are uncivilized here and make noises on the street 24/7. I have been in bigger cities and never seen this

Excelent facilities for a solo traveler. Dorms are pretty, clean, modern and spacious. The bed also comes with a little nightstand and a reading light! Good security system and handy 24h service. Easy check in and out. Shared showers are private with locks and a loundry soap is only 1€.

The stay on the basement level was generally a good one in an 8-bed dorm room spacious enough to move around (with also a "long table" in the middle), and yes the bathroom (ensuite) came with like a nice-sized area of sinks & mirrors; and the "common area" on the main floor is also a pretty nice hangout area (although just in the dining room of that area briefly during my 2-night stay). And as for the convenience of food & some other essentials, there's a "small-but-well-stocked" grocery shop just across the street, then to the right and just about a 5-minute walk is a Vietnamese restaurant (for my "main meals" with a "nice variety" of delicious items to choose from), then about another 5-minute walk after that restaurant is a McDonald's (for breakfasts during my stay). And also not having to walk too far from this hostel by going the same way to the McDonald's as just mentioned followed by a right turn and for about another 15-minute walk is a straight way to the Castle Square & the Royal Castle (a "great interior" of both a palace & a museum for a worthwhile visit).

Too much politics... I understand that we need to help refugees. However the manager turned this hostel from hospitality business into political propaganda means. Some receptionists wear badges with one country flag, etc.. The only thing the hostel did not yet is painting its building into the one country flag colors. People come here from multiple countries, they might have different political views.. That's why the business should stay out of politics. When I asked the reception lady why does she wear a badge with a flag of one country, she told me a lot of bad things about my motherland. Interestingly, she has never been in Ukraine or in Russia personally. I am ok that business should help war refugees. However I am not ok with staff making political propaganda. People come here from different countries and the business should stay out of politics. I spoke with guests from Ukraine in the hostel and they were much more polite than the receptionist . Though I need to admit: most other administrators at the reception overall were nice and friendly.

The general cleanliness was very good. And their availability was constant. But it stops there. One of the shower stalls ( one out of the two on our floor) wouldn’t drain. Quite disgusting. No internet for nearly every hour we were there (more than 24). In their advertising they should have made it clearer that the rooms were by default coed. Even though they were advertised as economical, the prices were very high due to an Ed Sheeren concert but it was not worth the $52/person per night. It was very hot also; they needed to invest in ceiling fans or other types of cooling mechanisms.

No lift...I use a cane and had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. And the shared bathroom was on the second floor! So if you are an older person who needs to get up to pee at night ask for a room on the first or second floor! It was hot and I had to keep window open. Lots of street noise. But the front desk staff was pleasant and there was free coffee. It was very clean.
