Good location for town and comfortable beds

If you need internet, find somewhere else. We stayed for 3 days, and could rarely access the internet. Room internet was very slow when we could connect, it drops out periodically, often cannot connect. Yet down in the conference room, (virtually directly under the room) on a different router (Still Spark) the internet was very good and did not drop out I ran a test with the same computer at the about the same time (difference was the time it took to get from the conference room back to our room les than 5 minutes). The conference room had 85Mb/s download and 94 Mb/s upload. In the room we would only get about less than 1Mb/s download and less than .001Mb/s upload when we could actually get a connection. I had an important call to the US on a project and had to use the conference room hoping that our conversation would not be heard in the reception area next to the room. My preference is always to carry out this type of business in the seclusion of my room. I had to use my phone to access the internet over the 3 days of our stay. We have to return to Whanganui in the future and I would get a written confirmation that I could get Internet comparable to that in the conference room, in a room before I would book to stay there again. Also needs a double power outlet in the kitchen so the toast cn be made whilst boiling the kettle. The towels are old and thin, very ltitle drying effect..

Service and check in was quick and simple. Nice area and everything needed or wanted in walking distance. Great people
