"An antique hotel in a fantastic location. There is a swimming pool, but the maintenance is lacking. The breakfast was not satisfactory considering the price, so I only had breakfast on the first day and ate at nearby restaurants from the next day onwards. There are many restaurants nearby."

"I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Veracruz. While the hotel has its strong points, the service left a lot to be desired, making it a rather mediocre experience overall. First, the check-in process was unnecessarily rigid. Check-in was strictly enforced only after 3:00 PM, even though there were clearly available rooms ready earlier. Once finally got into the room, i discovered there were no towels at all. I asked the staff multiple times to bring me towels so i could take a refreshing shower and go enjoy the pool, but my requests were repeatedly ignored. The towels were finally delivered after 6:00 PM, which completely ruined our afternoon plans."

"1. Some hotel front desk staff were not fluent in English, which affected communication. 2. They actually misled me during check-in by telling me there were no rooms available and giving me a different room type on the first floor. Even after I repeatedly went back to the front desk, they still believed it was correct. This was even confirmed by Ctrip's communication with their agent. When I went back to the front desk, another staff member, no longer misleading me, remained silent and admitted the mistake after my repeated questioning. Ctrip then verified and confirmed the error. Furthermore, despite repeated requests, the hotel never apologized, including to the staff member who misled me. 3. I booked a van for airport transfer at the concierge the day before, and the staff member confirmed it repeatedly and recorded the time in the logbook. However, the next day, a different person told me that their colleague hadn't informed them of any car booking arrangements, seriously delaying our itinerary for the day! 4. There was no water in the room. 5. The first floor was as dark as a basement. Terrible!!!"

"Hello, I made the reservation through this medium and the receptionist told us that it was not paid, she charged another card of my husband, I showed her the confirmation that Trip sent me with online prepayment and it still said no and that if it was paid they would refund us, it's been more than 1 week and they haven't refunded the charge, please help us clarify this situation."
