Outstanding service. Exquisite views. Personal service from the staff ( including a ride to and from a restaurant on our first night) We enjoyed the breakfast daily. The accommodations were spacious and clean with water views . The grounds are lush and well tended. We had a sunset happy hour by the pool with one of our favorite views of the trip.

Cantinho das Buganvilias is a prime example of the kind of tourist accommodation the azores need more of. Clean, modern and with friendly staff. The restaurant serves excellent food and the chef Bráulio and waiter Lionardo are very attentive and accomodating.

Uma agradável surpresa, não estava à espera de ser tão agradável, a vista para as Velas e ilha do Pico. A sério, foi uma vista que todos deviam conseguir usufruir um dia. Maravilhoso espaço. Recomendo e gostava de repetir um dia. Apartamentos equipados e preprados para se fazer uma refeição se for o caso.

O local é realmente maravilhoso, com uma vista fenomenal para as ilhas do Pico e Faial e para a vila de Velas. Ao final do dia, o pôr do sol é simplesmente deslumbrante! Se puder escolha um dos apartamentos no piso superior porque não se vai arrepender. Os apartamentos são modernos e espaçosos, com um WC enorme, com portadas em vidro na sala e quartos que permitem apreciar continuamente a paisagem. A piscina exterior é muito agradável, e como não podia deixar de ser está situada no limite da propriedade, o que permite estar na primeira fila para a vista já referida. O jantar no restaurante foi muito agradável, com várias iguarias de atum e um arroz de polvo de chorar por mais! A carta de vinhos é adequada e com preços muito interessantes.

Um resort pequeno mas onde conseguimos logo perceber que é gerido com o máximo cuidado e muito vontade de possibilitar o melhor que têm aos clientes. À chegada tínhamos no balcão uma tabuleta para ligar para o Max, chegou em menos de nada mesmo estando cheio de trabalho, levou-nos até ao quarto. Fez-nos um upgrade porque “como estamos fora da época alta e quando não estamos cheios gostamos de dar o que temos de melhor aos clientes”. Passámos de um T1 para um T2Superior, ninguém o obrigava a fazê-lo, mas fez. Deixo a dica que pela diferença de valor vale a pena reservar esta tipologia porque a vista é deslumbrante. O restaurante trabalha sazonalmente mas deram-nos os nomes dos mellhores restaurantes da ilha. O pequeno-almoço é o esperado num espaço destes. Se voltar a São Jorge é o sítio para ficar.

war 6 Nächte dort, sehr schöne Anlage, großzügige Zimmer und Ausstattung. Im Restaurant 2x Fisch gegessen, sehr lecker! Abends auf der Bar-Terrasse Gin tonic mit Blick über die Bucht! Pool wurde oft genutzt ebenso geschützte Badebuchten in Velas. Meerzugang 5 Min. vom Hotel nur bei ruhigem Meer geeignet. Abends und nachts hört man die Gelbschnabelsturmtaucher. Frühstück mit Rührei, harten Eiern, frisches Obst, Müsli, Joghurt, Toast. Personal sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit. Keine öffentl. Verkehrsmittel, Mietauto ratsam. In Velas großer Supermarkt.

Vanuit het ruimte appartement hadden we een prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan en Pico. Fijn is het grote zwembad voor de nodige verkoeling aan het einde van de dag. Het complex lijkt modern, maar wanneer je beter kijkt is het allemaal wel aan renovatie toe en niet echt meer van deze tijd. Keukenkastjes die niet sluiten, oude keukenapparatuur, warme slaapkamers (wel airco in de woonkamer) en een mooie ruimte badkamer maar met gedateerde inhoud. Wanneer je niet zo kritisch bent is het een leuke plek, maar stel je verwachtingen bij van een vier sterren locatie. Dineren was tijdens ons verblijf niet mogelijk in verband met een feest op beide dagen.
