"The hotel organizes wedding parties on its grounds without any restriction on time and noise. So if you stay in this hotel you can end up with super loud wedding party lasting all night right under your windows. The management just makes money and does not care about the guests living in the hotel. This is unacceptable, I’ve never seen such lack of respect to hotel guests in any other hotel in the world before (and I’ve travelled a lot!). Avoid this hotel."

"Beautiful buildings and an incredible setting, with unbeatable views out towards Pico. The hotel is thoughtfully decorated, very comfortable and immaculately clean, with friendly and helpful staff. We opted for an ocean view room, which actually meant we had an individual room in its own building just a very short walk from the main building, the main bonus being we had our own veranda and seating with which to enjoy the stunning views. A very good selection of sweet and savoury hot and cold foods for the buffet breakfast, which was regularly replenished. Happy to recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again next time we visit Sao Jorge."

"Super friendly reception by Gabriela. Great location of the bungalows best rented with sea view. Breakfast for 8.50. Euro sufficient and good. The facility has come in the years but still recommendable. Eat in the restaurant tasty but not just cheap. In total, the resort on Sao Jorge can be recommended!"

"A very modern and clean apartment with all the necessary comforts, clean kitchen, equipped, spacious with washing machines. Very perfect (the only sin that has not obviously compromised the stay was the presence of some blatt) but really mad house ❤️"

"The view of the Pic is something that will remain in your mind forever. The kitchen and the shared room where you have everything you need to cook, drink a glass of wine or simply listen to music. You have access to a cycling/maritime walk that connects Urzelina where you can walk or on the bikes that space provides. This space is a reason enough to return to S. Jorge. Please do not disclose that S. Jorge is quiet and without tourist pressure."
