Absolutely disappointing in all sense . The staff is utter un hygenic- dining area staff were putting their hands in their mounts and we ended up stopping them to serve us. Elevator and reception area totally stinking. Cafeteria has all toilet smell. Looks Completely non trained/ local / cheap labor is filled as a staff . In heavy rain they don’t have single umbrella. Food is below average Property location is beautiful but not maintained and even beach is full of mess of plastic bottles etc Don’t know who gave them such rating.

The beach view from the room is absolutely amazing and truly the highlight of the stay. However, the room itself needs painting and refurbishing, as there’s quite a bit of maintenance work pending. Considering the condition of the room, the price feels quite high. The buffet breakfast was also disappointing and did not meet expectations.

Sweet staff, good food, clean room: everything else was betweeen below average and disgusting: flies in resteraunt badly kept premises booze bottles and plastic cups laying around at night - not cleaned till 8 am pool looks clean - water tastes wierd towels from the night before lying on floor in the mud walkway to beach : never cleaned littered with plastic ugh- never coming back

The Rooms were under maintenance
Rats in balcony
AC was leaking
Toilets were not clean
Compliment breakfast was horrible
Totally no more business with make my trip for suggesting such horrible property

Location wise it was good. The view and amenities was amazing. But the food was miserable. With such a high priced stay the complementary breakfast was not upto the mark. Lunch and dinner had limited options, so had to reply on other restaurants for the same.

Our travel agent had touted Varkala as having a great beach for swimming. So we were really looking forward to the stay. Never bothered about where we were staying. Our agent said he would book us on the beach. When we reached there we were told there was a north Indian wedding (7th Feb 2025) and the entire hotel had been booked. They would check us in a neighboring property. This was a bit of an embarrassment in front of our French relatives for whom this was a surprise. Anyway we checked in a neighboring property, which was okay. We went down the beach, swam, enjoyed, but when we were hungry we did not have access to the restaurant of the original hotel. They said they would deliver dinner to our rooms which we refused. They then agreed to deliver it to the open area where near the pool of the neighboring place. To our shock the food we ordered was delivered but there was no staff around to serve. This put our foreign family guys swearing. To cut the long story short. Next day before leaving, i made a mention of the experience we encountered but except for small "sorries', nobody senior got back to us. So guys anybody choosing this place please clarify all these things. Once booked and paid for, customers have a right to get what they have promised and paid for.

We found the room to be clean, spacious and the view from the room to be breathtaking. There was ample space and seating arrangement in the garden area of the resort to spend time just watching the sea. The resort also had a private beach access. The staff provided all the help and service we needed and were very kind.
The only thing I found lacking was the food. A supposed 5 star hotel with 9-10k/night charges should have better food IMO. The food quality itself was lacking (both in the dinner and the breakfast we had). that's why I gave 1 star less (other than that no issues at all)

Property has cancelled my stay due to overbooking. They were very much confused regarding my confirmation. New answers every time someone picks up the call
