"Wow, First, one of the great locations. You feel that you are on a boat looking down at the sea. Second the natural sea water pool is fantastic. Third the service and food were great. We truly hope to be able to come back. Although for sure the hotel is "Haute" riviera it is understated and you won't see many folks showing off their brands."

"I am speaking here on behalf of friends whom I took to the chateau for a concert and a meal (65 euro imposed menu, by the way without any warning on the matter when we booked...) , certain that the quality of the establishment and the reputation of its cellar would be a moment of grace for all..Stupefaction: the bistrot chef proposed a series of unsavoury dishes that left much to be desired, many customers were unsatisfied judging by what was left on the side of the plates! Bland, at times incomplete (no respect of meal description), the courses we ordered were all disappointing, and the service too slow for people going to the concert ( most of us having accepted the " jazz menu "). Sorbet were so hastily scooped that flavours overlapped, the lot looking mushy, not even a wafer added to the tiny scoops, the veggie dish took the biscuit as it was hard, tasteless dry, and bore hardly any relation to the menu description. The parmesan flakes tasted like cardboard and the beautiful olive oil of the domain prides in was obviously spared us! The rocket leaves when we could found them were all wilted, the coffee arrived tepid etc.etc. Avoid the bistrot, avoid the château, it's a waste of money and time. The manager should definitely consider a change of chef if he wants people to go back or perhaps offer us a bottle of Pur ? They denied us a free coffee after we complained, so I doubt they know how to make clients loyal."

"It is a magical location but it does not live up to the hype unfortunately. The food is good but it’s not great … the pool situation is a nightmare and is pure profiteering at its best. If you are a resident there is not enough beds by the pool or even close enough to watch children - they have cabanas that are free the whole time we were there which line the pool but you have to pay extra for them - even as a guest. I understand this is done in France but not when you cannot even accommodate the guests you already have. Staff were not helpful at all at the pool."

"To celebrate my partner's birthday, we had already come two years ago. We had a wonderful time. The staff was fantastic, the room was clean and quiet. Everything was perfect! The only slight downside was having to pay for parking, which could easily be included considering the price of the rooms."

"The hotel is in a great location, next to the pier, and it's very convenient to walk around Frejus. There is a paid roadside parking space opposite, and you can also find free roadside parking a few minutes' walk away (it's probably difficult in the peak season); the front desk service is thoughtful and enthusiastic, the room is spacious, and the bedding is comfortable. I will stay a few more days next time"

"The photos speak for themselves, everything was dirty, the carpet was filthy, the bed had hair, the dust wasn't cleaned, the toilet was dirty. Refused room service, cocktail hour, I had to make myself heard, I was told someone would come by x3, we didn't see anyone, in the end the woman at the reception had to come by herself, no slippers, "out of stock," no towel change, I had to go downstairs, in short, never again. We wanted to leave as soon as we arrived, ashamed... The only good thing was the restaurant and pool... It's a shame this stay was a trial, I would have lost a lot of money later, customers lost."
