John and Delia’s resort villa is outstanding, as are they. We truly enjoyed meeting them and sharing a couple of meals. Some of the villas have private pools, all have a wonderful view overlooking the bay, a/c and everything you will need. We enjoyed our meals at the resort restaurant and the staff are very nice and welcoming. When their driver is available they will provide shuttle service to and from the airport, take you on excursions and to the dive shop if needed. (The diving is outstanding and one of the best in the world). Snorkeling is also good. Taxis are readily available and affordable, so no need to rent a car. Delia and John were extremely helpful with setting up additional excursions. We love this place and hope to go back again.

We arrived at the resort as strangers but we left feeling like family. Joe and the entire staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The location is great for many excursions and the resort has everything you need for a relaxing fun filled holiday.

Booked a meditation/snorkeling/yoga week at Daku Resort (with Susie Spinks) and tacked on several extra days. So glad I did! And, as it turned out, the Fijian Prime Minister and I chose the same spot at the same time! Daku Resort is close to town but not smack in the middle of it! Great food. Friendly staff. Lovely surroundings. Snorkeling and kayaking at the end of the driveway. Super helpful tips from the owners and staff for my first visit to Fiji! I practiced yoga and meditation, snorkeled multiple times a day, enjoyed the pool, had two wonderful massages (right at Daku Resort), did the KokoMana chocolate tasting tour up the street, visited a local village, and more. The owners and staff had really great tips to help me make the most of my time there and feel welcome as a solo traveler. If you’re a person who wants to really taste Fijian culture, enjoy the convenience of tasty onsite meals and comfortable rooms (with A/C and fans), be close to the water but able to walk to town, do it! And you never know who might meet there… or what trivia questions might come up at dinner. Vinaka vakalevu!!

Enjoyed a wonderful two weeks at Daku Resort, perfectly situated on a coral beach in Savusavu Bay. I took two courses, sketching, then yoga, with excellent instructors, and enjoyed the company of other attendees as we were entertained with various activities in the area. Meals were excellent and plentiful. The Bure was wonderfully comfortable and the staff were outstanding with their hospitality, service and friendliness.

Came for a yoga retreat and got so much more…. Location/setting is just gorgeous, and the staff made us feel so at home. The yoga was just what I needed, Kotte is an amazing teacher, and the Yoga Shala at Dali is such a peaceful spot. I am leaving feeling fulfilled and refreshed. Would love to return one day.

Fantastic Fiji experience. Combined this getaway with an art course offered by DAKU and it was the absolute perfect combination of relaxation and creativity. Blessed to have had international artist, Erin Hill, facilitate and share her passion in travel sketching and I’m leaving FIJI confident with a new creative skillset and new friends. The Resort is set on beautiful grounds with mountains behind and the beach in front - punctuated with gorgeous gardens, palms, hibiscus and frangipani - stunning! The food was delicious and plentiful. The hospitality from all the staff and hosts, Delia and JJ, was above and beyond. The location, accommodation - (front burre) and resort facilities - excellent. staff ferried us around to spots usually reserved for the locals and set us up with amazing picnics and sunset locations. Have to mention the banana-wrap massage - absolute heaven! I’ve returned home fully rested and creatively recharged with memories I will treasure for my lifetime - I’ll be back! THANK YOU DAKU Resort ❤️
