Ramada Encore - Labasa Damodar City
"Brand new hotel meeting all Western industry standards, the team does its best to be on top of the expectations. My best recommendations!"
Daku Resort
"We returned to Daku for the umpteemth time, on this occasion with children and grandchildren. And the great beauty is that nothing much changes; as the world accelerates into frantic uncertainty Daku and Savu Savu amble forward to the tune of rustling coconut palms and lapping waters of the bay a few metres away. Forget all the anodyne interchangeable ( and pricey!) big resorts - Daku is deeply Fijian. Nothing is too much trouble for Aubrey, Joe, Joshika, Peggy, Lucy, Tukai, Michelle, Tee and all the others. The grandkids want to try green coconuts? No problem. Where's the good snorkelling? Delia will take you there. Yoga or just relaxation? Sit on the high platform gazing over Savu Savu bay. We just read a Daku review complaining that the towels were too skinny; well if that's your criterion for a good holiday, go to Club Med. We cannot recommend Daku highly enough to anybody who wants to escape the crowds, relax in simple but well-appointed bures and villas, mix with villagers in the fruit market or sit in a simple cafe in the bustling little Savu Savu town up the road. And when you return to Nadi people will say to you, as they have to us on many occasions, 'Ahh you've seen the real Fiji!'"
Grand Eastern Hotel
"The water pressure was very poor, and took minutes for hot water"
Naveria Heights Lodge
"A very charming place to stay with great attention to detail to make sure everything was special. The beautiful view is the reward of the lodge being in an elevated setting. The host Sharon takes great pride in making your stay memorable. Such a rare experience to be able to feel removed from town but close enough to get to if you chose. Highly recommend this lodge to enjoy the true beauty and experience of Fiji."
Koro Sun Resort & Rainforest Spa
"A unique place, surrounded by a fantastic team, our stay will forever be etched in our hearts."
Fiji Lodge Vosa Ni Ua
"The worst part was that they gave me the Wi-Fi password and I was able to access it, but the Wi-Fi was immediately switched off and I was told that it was solar-powered so I could only charge it on sunny days. There was no lock on the room and the air conditioning was just for show and I couldn't use it. There were also extra charges for meals. I don't think I've ever experienced such a terrible accommodation."
Namale Resort & Spa – All Inclusive
"We have recently returned from 5 days in beautiful Namale Resort. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Every single activity, meal, and staff member was superb. Everyone there immediately made us feel welcome and ensured that our stay would be perfect starting with remembering our names and using them! Just lovely, delightful people. We couldn’t have felt more spoiled. The rooms were so nice and absolutely spotless and cleaned thoroughly daily and towels changed even at night when they did turn down service. Whatever we wanted or needed was provided immediately and with a smile. The nightly entertainment was also a highlight, especially the darling children and adults from the local village. Just delightful. Our sandbar picnic and snorkel was lots of fun, in spite of the windy day. As was our sunset cocktail and snacks and our special good bye breakfast at lover’s point. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience. Special shout out to Jio, Donna, Bui, Kesa, Oni, Lia, Mili and Mili, Brenda, Joe, and Nanise. Apologies if I’ve forgotten anyone. Wish we could come back tomorrow! Sally and Jim"
Gecko Lodge Fiji
"The room was clean and had a view of the sea. There were excellent cooking facilities for breakfast and dinner. The main town of SavuSavu was within easy walking distance. The owner Jeremy made you feel like one of the family. Very helpful."
Bay View Barbers Lodge
"I would recommend this lodge for a low budget traveller if you want an admin room with all the necessities a stone throw away at the location."

The Friendly North Inn
"Initially called hotel to make a booking but was told that no rooms were available. However, I was able to make a booking via Qantas Hotels, so go figure. Booking was for a couple and included breakfast. However room was dirty, only 1 bath towel was provided, there was no remote for the air conditioner and the TV did not work. And to top it all off, in the morning, was told by the rude staff that breakfast was not included. A totally dishonest establishment in Labasa, best avoiding."
Sau Bay Resort & Spa
"Sau Bay is a wonderful place. We went in the off-season. The staff was friendly and attentive. Chef prepared excellent meals that were fresh, varied, and presented beautifully. Lui was our waiter, bartender, and guide on hikes and activities. He knew how to bring Fiji alive for us. Our bungalow was comfortable and cleaned daily. Any problems were dealt with quickly. We dove on 5 days. The dive team was endlessly helpful, and the dive sites were calm enough and really beautiful. This is probably the closest resort to Rainbow Reef dive sites and we particularly enjoyed the short boat rides and calm intervals. The spa was small but sweet. Everything from making our reservations to seeing us off at the airport on the adjacent island was done nicely, personally, and professionally. We enjoyed ourselves greatly."
