A lovely overnight stay at the Cwrt Bleddyn after a friend’s local party.Very pleased to stay in the main hotel rather than the annexe where I had stayed before . Bed was really comfortable and the hotel was quiet. We took advantage of the swimming pool and Rajesh on the welcome desk of the swimming pool/ gym was so very helpful. Thank you Rajesh! We will definitely return.

We had a family reunion at Cwrt Bleddyn for about 14 people. The staff took excellent care of us from beginning to end. The bedrooms were lovely. Large bedrooms on the whole, with good, comfy beds. The pool was great fun - not one want to do lengths in (it’s about 15m long at its longest) but one in which it’s good just to swim around and feel good. It’s very much themed to be like a Roman bath, complete with jacuzzi and sauna! Great fun! Towels are available from hotel reception. All very easy. And there’s a good gym too. All for hotel guests to use. And then there was the food…! The food was absolutely delicious!!! We all ate a bit too much, but we couldn’t really resist it. And we had our evening meals in a beautiful room panelled with oak carvings. Amazing. Lovely breakfasts. The bar was sensibly priced too. And once again, the staff took such great care of us. It was a real pleasure to stay. Thank you very much indeed!

Me and my partner booked a stay at the Cwrt Bleddyn hotel for 2 nights for a relaxing few days away. We weren’t exactly sure what to expect with neither of us having stayed here before and not knowing much about the hotel. However, on arrival we were greeted with a smile. We had arrived just before check in and were happy to go for a walk or get a drink and wait for our room to be ready, however the staff at the front desk found us an available room immediately and advised us that we can check in. On arrival to the room we were surprised at how big and light it was, we had booked a superior double and were in room 2. The bed was huge and bathroom was a good size. The room could have done with a fresh lick of paint and the furniture was looking a bit old and battered but it was clean. There was a small conservatory area at the back of the room which does need re-doing. One of the window panes was cracked. The bathroom was visually beautiful and decorated well, however some of the tiles were cracked in places and the bath didn’t drain well when we showered. We utilised the pool, sauna and jacuzzi a couple of times during our stay, it provided a relaxing and calming atmosphere. The steam room didn’t seem to be working, however that could have been user error as I didn’t have my glasses on. All were clean and looked well looked after. We also borrowed the rackets and balls to play tennis one afternoon. We were surprised that we didn’t have to pay which was good. The tennis court was not the best, it was very worn and covered in leaves and branches but the hotel advised us that they were waiting to get it re-done. We still managed to have a few games and thoroughly enjoyed it. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful and we sat on the terrace with drinks quite a few times during our stay which we found very relaxing with the sounds of the fountain making the area feel very calm. The restaurant served wonderful food, we tried the burgers on the first night which were full of flavour and perfectly portioned. On the second night my partner had the fish and chips whilst I had the steak. They were both brought out quickly and were incredibly fresh. The mushrooms with my steak were probably the best I have ever eaten and my partner advised me that he has never had a so perfectly cooked fish. Breakfast was good, there were a lot of options for continental or cooked and was buffet style. We had cooked breakfast both days and the food all tasted fresh and good quality. The staff were lovely, they checked in with us, chatted and made sure we were comfortable. All were very friendly and approachable and were not far away whenever we needed help. Overall we came for a relaxing stay and that is what we got. We felt refreshed and relaxed leaving and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We would happily book again and even discussed having our wedding here in the future. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay as easy and relaxing as possible.

Brilliant hotel & cottage’s, My mum had her wedding here start of July and it was perfect and it was all thanks to the Cwrt Bleddyn. From the start to the end, the staff was amazing & a massive huge shoutout to Rajesh and Richard. Even when my uncle had evacuated the whole hotel due to being the “bacon chef” Rajesh was still so happy and friendly and always willing to help. Richard, who was on reception during this time was also such a star, both always talking to us when we walk past and Richard doing an amazing job at ensuring any help we needed was sorted instantly. The wedding venue was so beautiful and well organised. The bar staff on the day of the wedding and the night before were so friendly too & also deserve a big thankyou from us 🩷 The pink cottage was clean, spacious and so cozy. From the start to the end it was perfect. The day after the wedding, the staff went out of their way to keep our items safe and protected, as well as helping us regardless. Whether you’re having a wedding, a family stay, anniversary’s etc this is such a great place to consider with the most amazing staff ever 🫶🏻 We will definitely all be returning soon for another stay!! 10/10 recommendation. Thankyou 🩷

We booked to stay in the Cwrt Bleddyn after previously staying here a few years ago and having the best time. So when we arrived we firstly noticed how the outside of the building was a lot more shabby than we remembered. Outdoor courts were in a dirty, overgrown state and there was rubbish on the tables outside the reception and cups with cigarette ends in them on the walls. We arrived on Sunday 8th June at approx 6pm, the receptionist informed us that the pool closed early on a Sunday (not ideal but it was a Sunday) and also the restaurant wa ab also closing early. We went straight to our room. And our hearts sank. Firstly the corridor to the room was dirty and walls and furnishings were dirty but when we entered our room the first thing we noticed was a strong damp smell. And it went down hill from there. I will attach the photos and videos. The room was filthy. I do not even know what some of the stains were but I have attached photos. Your guess is as good as mine. We got changed and went to the spa as it was closing in about an hour. And it’s no wonder that it is kept so dark. The water was murky and there was actual gritty bits in the bottom of the pool. The chlorine was so strong that it burned your eyes. The poolside was so dirty that it was slimey and slippery. The sauna has big patches of black white the wood is rotten. We did not stay long in there. At this point we decided that we would go elsewhere for food as the conditions did not bode well for acceptable standards. We ended up going to a beef eater. Where my husband produced me with a ring that he had intended to give me in the “beautiful “ hotel we had booked. We went back to the hotel after food but the smell of damp and the mould made it a very unpleasant experience so at about midnight we decided enough was enough and we went home- despite us having paid for breakfast the next morning. We let the hotel know via email directly and they told us that they would of “swiftly” respond, we heard nothing else from them. We emailed again 6-7 times over the next 5 weeks and had no response at all. As stated- we have stayed here before so were very much looking forward to staying again. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. More disgusted. Please see photos of our stay and decide for yourself. At no point was a refund offered or even an apology. I have videos of all of it but it will not let me upload them here.

My partner and I recently spent three nights at Cwrt Bleddyn and from the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcomed and well cared for. We stayed in a superior double room (No. 14), which was spacious, bright and thoughtfully laid out, with more than ample wardrobe and drawer space. The bed was firmer than we’re used to—purely a matter of personal taste—but still comfortable. The pillows were a little on the flat side, but when we asked for extras, they were brought to us promptly and with a smile. In fact, we got the clear impression that nothing was too much trouble for the staff, whose sole aim seemed to be ensuring we were as comfortable as possible. Although the evening menu was somewhat limited in scope, the meals we did enjoy were of excellent quality—flavourful, well presented, and clearly made with care. What stood out just as much as the food, though, was the warm and attentive hospitality throughout. Every member of staff we encountered was kind, eager to please, and genuinely welcoming. Cwrt Bleddyn itself is a beautiful well-maintained property. The interior is clean and tidy and mixes the modern with the old very well. Arguably, some of the features could do with a little modernising but this does not take away from the experience but adds to the charm and sense of history. The grounds are simply stunning. We took full advantage of the gorgeous swimming pool. We were also fortunate enough to enjoy warm weather that allowed us to relax outdoors in the evenings - either by the courtyard fountain or on the lawn beside the lake. At times, it felt more like we were in the Italian countryside than in South Wales. During our stay, a wedding was being held on the premises, but it didn’t detract at all from our experience. Service remained consistently excellent, and we were not disturbed in the slightest by the celebrations. Ultimately, what makes a stay truly special isn’t the number of pillows, the size of the room, or the length of the menu—it’s the atmosphere and the way you’re treated. On this front, Cwrt Bleddyn excels. We left feeling thoroughly cared for and genuinely valued as guests. A heartfelt thank you to Richard and the reception team, who were always welcoming and cheerful. And a special mention to the General Manager, Resh, who seemed to be everywhere at once - listening to guests, checking in on things, and doing whatever it took to make sure everyone had a great experience. Resh - do you ever sleep? We truly loved our time at Cwrt Bleddyn and couldn’t wait to return. In fact, we even tried to book in again just a few days later our way back from touring South Wales -sadly, the hotel was full. Not surprising, really. It deserves to be.

We are currently on our second night of our stay and we absolutely love it. We booked this very last minute and are so glad we did. Check in was very smooth, the room is clean, peaceful and spacious. The bed is super comfortable, we’ve had no trouble sleeping at all, my partner struggles with back problems and it did her back wonders. There’s lots of tv channels if you fancy a quiet night in. The scenery is so peaceful and beautiful and there’s lots of wildlife hiding around. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the dinner menu. The gym facilities are fantastic, really clean and there’s plenty of equipment to choose from. The pool and spa facilities are brilliant, the pool room is really unique and peaceful, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed playing mermaids in the pool. 🧜‍♀️ We really enjoyed playing card games in the bar and outside as there’s plenty of seating. The staff are incredibly lovely and go above and beyond to help guests. Today staff were serving two large parties of people in separate rooms and still went out of their way to serve us and make sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed (even though we were the only customers wanting food at the time). The manager was very kind and made sure guests were comfortable and had all they needed. We chatted with him and he told us he’s only been in charge of the facility for 6 weeks. He has 100% turned the place around, we could not see any faults at all. We could not recommend Cwrt Bleddyn enough, we thought the price was very reasonable and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We have already told our family about this place and will definitely be returning. Cwrt Bleddyn deserves every success and we hope to see it continue to thrive 🙌
