This was our third visit to Cwrt Bleddyn and we absolutely loved it. The economy rooms are good, they’re fairly basic but have everything you need and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Our only issues were that we had a very loud fan in the bathroom which came on whenever the light was on (you could even hear it from the the hallway outside the room) and I could hear the whole conversation of the room next door at 6:30am. The pool and spa facilities are fabulous, the lunch was delicious and the overall atmosphere is very relaxing. The best part of all is that every member of staff we interacted with was amazing, they were all super friendly and helpful!

Stayed for one night really disappointed in the quality of the room and furnishings this hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade/refurbishment. Bathroom was awful, rusty and broken fittings with mouldy floor and wall tiles. Carpets filthy and covered in marks. Coffee cups needed washing.before use. Such a shame as the hotel is in a lovely setting and has so much potential to get it back to what it was. Meal in restaurant was good, breakfast was buffet and not appealing very disappointing all round

Damp, dirty, smelly…….. Booked for four nights and ended up leaving after two. The room smelled damp, which got into all my clothes. There was black mole around the windows. The bed was in need of some urgent tightening- it swayed as soon as you got on it! When I complained at reception that the room was damp and smelly and I wanted to be moved, I was told they knew it was damp but couldn’t move me as the hotel was fully booked. I do not believe these rooms are fit for human habitation! Breakfast was poor as were the restaurant meals in an evening. Needs money spending on it - a damp proof course would be a start! Total rip off!!!

Had a lovely stay last night. We upgraded to the Seymour room. The room its self was dated but clean. And the bed was lovely and comfortable. Room was cold but we phoned through and a portable heater was delivered and was substantial. Bathroom was modern. But shower was very dirty and Luke warm. Also towel rail needed a good wipe down. Pool, sauna and steam room was all clean and nice but unfortunately the jacuzzi was out of order. Dining was lovely we both enjoyed our meals and desserts. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Breakfast the next morning was bland but edible. This place is in a beautiful setting, just needs a bit of love and care!

We booked a stay here for 1 night. The receptionist was lovely and helpful where possible, however, it became apparent we had booked a specific room and had been changed to another (you could see our room number had been changed on our ticket) Due to being pregnant a room with a shower was needed so had to downgrade in order to have a shower. Went into the restaurant, unfortunately main meals were a let down. Charred beef fillet at £23 was meant to be served with red wine and beef reduction, however , it could not be mistaken we were served bisto gravy in a jug. Concerns were raised to the waiter but the chef was not interested and was adamant we were served what was listed on the menu. Steak was well over cooked but following the dismissive comment over the “bisto” decided it was a pointless exercise to attempt a resolution. Rooms were very noisy and the bed was very uncomfortable. Unfortunately we would not choose to stay again

The only positive of my stay so far was that check in was straightforward. But the negatives … where do I start? Just take a look at the photos. First room was almost above the reception entrance. The glass was cracked in the windows, one window didn’t even have a handle, then I realised why you’re not meant to open the windows … because the smokers gather outside the window and stink the room out and talk/laugh loudly which disturbs the occupant. The noise of the fountain was also irritatingly loud and apparently couldn’t be turned off. The room was tired, shabby and dirty. After a few hours I requested a room change and was given an “upgrade”. The second room is the worst I have ever seen (and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels). The door frame had been fixed after it looked like someone had broken in. It was very noisy due to a lively group in the bar immediately downstairs from the room. I took the decorative cover off the end of the bed, to find a horrible stain on it. I then pulled the duvet back and saw a dark mark on the sheet. It turned out to be on the mattress cover and you’ll see from the photos why I nearly retched! It was simply the most disgusting linen I’ve ever seen in a hotel. How on earth didn’t the housekeepers see the dried blood and other stains when they changed the sheets? The whole room is dirty and smells horrible, the toilet is disgusting and to top it off the fire alarm has just gone off at 11.05pm. I was shown two other rooms … both equally disgusting. So for tonight I have the duvet as a mattress cover/bottom sheet and am using the duvet from the spare bed as a cover. I truly wish I wasn’t staying here and would not recommend it to anyone.

Birthday spa and stay at the hotel were absolutely a dream ✨️ due to the most amazing staff who could not be more helpful offering us all the greatest experience! Tilly at reception is phenomenal trying to help and her manager were just brilliant! 👏

I must admit, after reading some of the reviews I was pleasantly surprised. The room furnishings are a little tired but the room was clean, the bathroom immaculate and the grounds were stunning. We spent time in the spa, using the gym, pool and other spa facilities, again they were a little'tired' but perfectly serviceable. The staff were great, so easy to park and the food (evening meal and breakfast) were great.

Staff friendly and pleasant, however decor and cleanliness very poor! Spa area okay not amazing steam room did feel cold and not keen on how you walk through gym to get to it bit odd. Not enough seating out front hotel. Tables always got empty glasses on and ash trays full up, Food was nothing special, cobwebs all around windows in restaurant area, wouldn’t return, email sent as reception was on telephone on check out.
