The lodge is clean with friendly staff. Water pressure is a little weak but overall it's a nice and comfortable stay.

For transparency, I am keeping the original review up below. I am currently staying at this hotel, which started off a bit rocky—mainly due to miscommunication while trying to arrange transportation from Cusco. Combined with the change in altitude, heavy traffic, and a later-than-expected arrival, it didn’t leave the best first impression. That said, I was genuinely impressed by how the management noticed my dissatisfaction, took the time to speak with me, and did what they could to make things right. It’s clear they take great pride in their eco-resort. The property itself is stunning and tranquil, with the soothing sound of the river right outside the cabin. In hindsight, I realize I should have done more research on the nature of this resort. It probably wasn’t the most suitable choice for my 74-year-old father, who has some mobility issues and mild medical needs. Still, I think the peaceful surroundings will do him good—giving him a chance to rest, read, and enjoy the landscape while I explore the nearby towns and ruins. This resort is best suited for young to middle-aged couples or solo travelers who enjoy camping or glamping, and who want to connect with nature and disconnect from the outside world for a while. That being said, the Wi-Fi is surprisingly strong, making it a great option for digital nomads as well. Just a heads-up—if anyone in your party has back issues, be aware that the road leading to the property is quite rugged and bumpy. Overall, I would recommend this eco-resort to those with the right mindset: travelers looking to slow down, unplug, and take in the beauty of the Sacred Valley. There’s a complimentary shuttle into town and the nearby ruins, and friendly dogs roam the grounds adding to the charm. As promised, I am leaving my original review below for transparency. ⭐ The Good The grounds are beautiful, and the staff are kind and friendly. Truly, the people working here seem to care and try their best. But unfortunately, that's where the positives stop. 🚩 Where It Went Wrong 1. Pre-Arrival Chaos Three days before check-in, I began arranging transportation from Cusco. Communication was initially prompt, then completely dropped off the day before arrival — leaving me without confirmation. I called repeatedly on a Saturday afternoon with no answer. As a result, I had to cancel a prepaid excursion on my last day in Lima with my dad just to sort this out. I finally had to escalate to my Hyatt Globalist concierge, who — along with the team at Hyatt Centric Lima — helped connect me to someone via WhatsApp. Only at 3 p.m. did I finally get a confirmed transfer. 2. Check-In + Room Issues We arrived close to 9 p.m. after a longer-than-expected drive. We were only given one key (for two people) — not ideal, but we were exhausted. The room was an icebox — no preheating or anticipation of guest comfort. We sat in jackets waiting for a fire to be lit. 3. Water Access – or Lack Thereof As a Globalist, I’m accustomed to havin

Beautiful campus, helpful and attentive staff, wonderful food. Staff helped us coordinate transportation. Book spa and hot tub ahead of arrival because it books up quickly and unlikely to be available if you wait until you arrive. Recommend.

The most amazing unforgettable experience! I wish we could stay longer. The view is breathtaking, rooms are impeccable cleaned, the beds are the best. Every details were carefully selected for the comfort of the guest. I love having alpaca throws available. The garden is so well taking care of and full of flowers, avocado and fig trees. The resort is located close to Ollaytantamba and the shuttle service was very convenient. They organized laundry service for us and it was absolutely needed and appreciated. Hope to return one day.

This place is magical.. So serene and peaceful. I fully understand why this great, little resort is added to Time's 'The World's Greatest Places to Stay 2025'. It all adds up, the people, the service, the location, the food.. literally everything. Especially the personnel, what a kind and entertaining people! We also had a guide for our Machu Picchu through Las Qolqa, mr. Porfirio Carbajal, which was a great person and guide! Will stay again!!

You’re treating yourself to a big favor by staying here! The resort is surrounded by majestic mountains and clouds, offering breathtaking scenery. I can’t wait to wake up early and enjoy the stunning views with my coffee and breakfast. Our family stayed here for two nights before embarking on our journey to Machu Picchu. Fortunately, we had booked two nights. My daughter even asked if we could stay longer once we checked in. The staff here are incredibly attentive and friendly. After a day trip touring Ollantaytambo, we preferred to stay in the hotel for dinner. The food is delicious. Thanks for such a lovely place.

Mixed review. The property is beautiful and the staff is friendly. The tents are attractive and fun. There are two downsides. The location is far from town on a very bumpy road. Second is that the staff misunderstood a question about the menu which has prices in USD instead of Peruvian Soles which was strange and meant that we paid nearly four times what we expected.

This was my husband's and my first trip to Machu Picchu. I chose Las Qolqas because it looked lovely in photos. I was not aware of how much more we were about to discover in this absolutely beautiful place. What you don't know, because it is not explained in the description is that all the food you have here is organic, either grown at their own vegetable garden and fruit trees or bought from local farmers that also grow organically. The first evening we had the most succulent grilled trout I have had in almost ever, with a light and delicious carrot puree. My husband hardly eats any veggies but left nothing on his plate! Breakfast, was made to order and incredibly fresh, light and tasty. Our dinner last night, a chicken with mushrooms was lovely, too. There are several other things that made our short stay unforgettable. The staff are all very accommodating, helpful and nice. Alex, GianCarlo, Verónica, Lenin (the chef), Steffani (I am sure I am forgetting someone) all strived to make our stay enjoyable. Monica gave me a fabulous massage. The manager, Hector is a lovely person who took us on a tour of the gardens and answered my many questions about their organic methods. Our tent was comfortable, and had all we needed to relax. The surroundings are magical especially at night when you can see so many stars. Suffice to say we had a hard time leaving!
