Luxury Hotel experience in the heart of the Sacred Valley. This hotel has everything you would want. Wonderful rooms with all the modern ammenities, great heating and cooling, DirectTV channels, wonderful showers, super comfy beds, etc.. Patios lead out to a beautiful view of the Urubamba River and mountains. The spa and pool, although a little small (so it got crowded) are beautiful. I just wish the jacuzzi and pool areas were larger. But again, gorgeous. The restaurant was great, especially for their breakfasts, which were absolutely fantastic. We had room service one night as well, which went perfectly. I will also give a shout out to the Concierge Team, especially Renato, who went above and beyond for us. We needed to transfer our luggage to a hotel in Cusco while we went the other direction for a few days, and they made all the arrangements. We left our luggage at the front with the Concierge, and 3 days later, our luggage was sitting safely at our new hotel an hour away. All of the service throughout our stay was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Sacred Valley. It's centrally located for most of your day trip tours, and is a true haven to relax in after those tour days!

We spent three nights at Tambo del Inka and it was the best property we stayed at in the country. The staff were fantastic, notably Katharine and Renato from the concierge team, Abel and Anlly/Angie from the front desk and Antonio and Logan from the breakfast/F&B team. They went above and beyond for us, surprised us with small touches that enhanced our stay, upgraded our room and recognized our loyalty/status with Marriott. The pool and spa amenities were top notch and overall our stay ranked in the top 3 of all our 150+ stays at Marriott properties worldwide. Would recommend unreservedly!

This is truly a hidden gem in this area! We absolutely loved every minute we spent at this resort. The service was fantastic, everyone was friendly, and the vibe was so peaceful and relaxing. We want to give a special shout out to Mathias for going the extra mile to make sure our stay was exceptional. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and we really enjoyed sitting outside while we dined and admired the Urubamba River. It was so fun to pet the alpacas outside around the fountain and inside the lobby. There were local women set up in the lobby and out front that were wearing traditional Peruvian clothing and selling authentic goods like scarves, pashminas, souvenirs and they were so kind and helpful when asking to pet the alpacas and when inquiring about the items. There is a beautiful fireplace in the lobby that we admired while drinking wine and enjoying charcuterie which made for such a lovely night. I signed up for a pisco sour making class and absolutely loved the experience. The spa is top notch as well! I got a massage and facial that were both exquisite. The entire spa area is fantastic as well with huge locker rooms, hot tubs, a sauna, and a gorgeous indoor/outdoor pool. The rooms are clean, huge, and very well appointed. The grounds of the hotel are breathtaking and we loved going for walks in the morning on the trail and stopping to check out the shops and cerveceria later in the day. I cannot say enough great things about this resort. It is a perfect home base for visiting Machu Picchu and the Inka Trail as well. And don’t sleep on Urubamba while you’re here! Make sure to venture into the quaint little town and check out some of the local businesses nearby. We loved Biga Pizza, El Garaje, Migas Del Valle, Om Asian Restobar, Monkey Coffee and Cerveceria Antes De Cristo. Also, be sure you take a Tuk Tuk home from town to the resort. It was so fun and reminded us of Thailand. This resort holds a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to return! I actually get emotional writing about this special place. Thank you so much!!!

Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. Prior to arrival I requested rooms be connecting or at least side by side. Response was that the request was noted. Arrived at the hotel at almost 8pm and found that we did get the connecting rooms. Ramiro showed us to our rooms and took care of our bags. He was very polite and welcoming. The hotel is stunning. The common areas reflect the Incan culture and there are artistic details everywhere. Our rooms were 344 and 346 which is actually the top floor and the same floor of the lobby. The rooms had huge walk in closets and decorative ceilings. There was also a nice welcome dish of chocolate waiting for us. The rooms also had 2 chairs next to a large window overlooking the mountain. The bath products were Byredo, similar to those I’ve had in Conrads in the U.S., though these were Le Chemin rather than Mojave Ghost. It was high quality. There was a shower and separate tub and the toilet was separated as well with its own door. Overall, the rooms were spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable. The restaurant is Hawa, and it is the only one on site. We are there multiple times. Breakfast is a buffet with enough options for any taste and you can still order a la carte if needed. We had Juan Carlos multiple times in Hawaii and he was always excellent and friendly. Some standouts were the ceviche, the salmon, and the soups. The concierges were all very helpful and we used them to arrange transportation and ask for ideas on excursions. All the concierges were first class. The location is about 1.5 hrs from Cusco airport and 30 mins from Ollantaytambo. You can walk 4 blocks and be in Urubamba main square. The hotel has an excellent pool and spa as well. Take the time to walk the grounds and there are beautiful spots such as a lagoon, the river, a jogging trail and more. Lastly, I must mention the alpacas. We met 3 of them during our stay. They are usually out front or in the lobby. You can let them or even help feed them. They are such beautiful creatures. Overall, this is a fabulous hotel and easily one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The place is spotless and the best part is the staff. They are all impeccable in their manners and truly want you to enjoy your time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
