One of my favorite hotels in Peru, stayed here for the second time! The perfect stay

This was by far the best and most memorable property I have stayed at. It is situated in a beautiful and convenient location in Urubamba in the Sacred Valley. It was easy to walk to all the main areas in the town. The hotel has it's own train station, which is the starting and ending point for the train all the way to Aguas Calientes to get to Machu Picchu. Breakfast at the property starts at 5:30 am which gives plenty of time to get the train at 6:50 am. The food served on site is absolutely amazing. There was a wide variety of both Peruvian and international options. The pool is beautiful and is one of the few properties that actually maintains warm comfortable enough to swim at anytime. The grounds are beautiful and is an adventure by itself. The alpacas onsite are the cutest I have seen in all of Peru. However, the best feature of this property has to be the staff!! I have never seen such attentive and well-trained staff anywhere. Matias, the Chief Concierge is phenomenal at what he does. He remembered our first and last names during our entire stay! Lucila in the restaurant, Truman at the concierge desk, Jose Miguel also at the concierge desk. Thank you all for making my trip one of the best yet. I hope I get the chance to return, and will be recommending this property to all.

We chose this hotel as our base camp before and after hiking the classic Inca trail. It was incredible and we are so happy with our choice! The staff is so accommodating. They stored signage for us, booked transportation, shared recommendations and were just wonderful! The setting is stunning. Some rooms have views of the urban a river. All rooms have views of the stunning gardens and flowers it is truly so pretty and relaxing. We saw humming birds and green parrots from our balcony. The pool and spa ammentities are great. We loved taking a dip in the indoor/ outdoor heated pool and took full advantage of the hot tubs and saunas. The women’s locker room has everything you need to get ready including fully stocked showers dressing rooms and vanity areas so this is great if you arrive before check in or leave after check out.the gym is totally fine and the walking path throughout the property would be perfect as a jogging trail as well. Highly recommend getting a massage or spa service. My masseuse, Caitlin was a magician and made me feel amazing after a 4 day hike and sleeping in a tent. The rooms are well appointed and they left special treats and turndown service. Recommend asking to be on the spa side facing the river if given an option! The breakfast is incredible. Huge buffet, made to order menu, every type of coffee drink imaginable and live traditional music. Your resort fee includes some fun activities and also time in the aqua center- not to be skipped! Two adorable llamas greet you out front or in the lobby daily and it’s the sweetest. Daniel made check out so easy Karim and Julio made our dinners so lovely! The entire staff was amazing!! out of this world service. This hotel is its own oasis but across the street you can experience a local market and shopping in the town of urbamaba proper. I am so sad to leave this property and hope to return some day! It was wonderful.

This was a wonderful hotel with helpful staff. The room was great- We were on a ground floor with a little patio with outdoor seating. We walked around the grounds and saw some hummingbirds! Our room was a great place to relax and rest up before we hit the Inca Trail.
