Excellent location in between of cafes / restaurants/ direct opposite to the Munster and short working distance to the river Danube.
We found the typical functional Motel One standard with a nice bar + rooftop.
All was clean with very supporting staff members.

It is a very good bar but the difference is one Barman is a profi the other one is only interested in going for a smoke and mixing drinks and using his phone at the same time. We arrived and the main Barman seated us gave us the menu and left, the other one looked at us we looked at him and he lost the stare off so he put on his black glove left hand and against his will wandered over to us and took our order. The main Barman brought our drinks and asked why his mate is so unfriendly ,he had a hard day yesterday was his reply. The next night we went again and Barman one super, nr two on his phone, both went for a smoke just as nrw guests came in, the phone guy looked at them but his smoko was more important. Very bad.

We stayed last Saturday and Sunday in Ulm and thanks to our wonderful stay at Motel One we really enjoyed it. The staff were amazing. The young man on reception was so helpful and went out of his way to get me some ice cubes when the bar was closed. The air con wasn’t powerful enough but it was so hot we could understand that. Our room overlooked the market square - great for people watching- and the magnificent cathedral. The bar on the top floor is really nice. It was very busy on Saturday night and they could have done with more people working there. Lovely drinks and very reasonably priced. Thanks Motel One staff for a fantastic stay!

I stayed here for business so I didn’t get to choose the hotel. Overall, this hotel is a comfortable place to stay. The good: Lots of pillows Fireplace effect on the TV Quiet atmosphere Changeable thermostat Breakfast buffet is ok and in a nice area Good location and view of the cathedral Polite and friendly staff The not so great: Mattress was a bit firm for my liking Extraction fan in bathroom was too loud and on for long periods of time No kettle in the room (this was the WORST thing for me) Tvs are a but older so you can’t connect to youtube or netflix, etc. No conditioner in the shower (so fed up of hotels scrimping on this)

Was just there for a night . But the hotel was directly at the Xmas market and the pretty cathedral. Perfect location & friendly staff

This is a beautiful hotel. Great location. Pleasant staff and great rooftop bar. Italian restaurant on your doorstep and make sure to book the city view room. Amazing views. Clean rooms. The only negative would be the air conditioning wasn’t very strong.

Motel One is just the best choice for your stay in Ulm - rooms are simple but clean, hotel location and its roof bar is unique.
We had some problems at check-in as their system was down for ＞ 6 hours and the stuff did not know how to manage this.
But this was surely an exception.
