Excellent location for the skiers. Nearest slope 50 m from the property. Super good skiroom, spacious, clean and good ventilation for skiboots. Good and hot enough sauna for us finns😁

Our family enjoyed Bad Kirchler’s Ferienhof zur Sonne, in September, with half pension. The food was delicious & the pool & sauna were a perfect way to relax & warm-up after our trip to the Hintertux Glacier & Nature Ice Palace extended boat tour. We stayed one night & booked directly through Ferienhof zur Sonne, for the best price, Ferienhof zur Sonne’s furniture is from back in the day, but we slept well & enjoyed being surrounded by mountains. Worth visiting in Summer, for families visiting the snowy Hintertux glacier, in hot weather. Enjoy!

Nothing was too much trouble. I had agreed to share a room with a friend. Little did I know what an Austrian twin room was( google it if you don’t know) we had already had a nightmare journey getting to the resort due to plane cancellations and bad weather, only to find that I had to share a bed with my mate. The hotel staff were more than helpful and gave me a room of my own at no extra charge. The hard work to keep us all happy continued throughout the week. The food is delicious and plentiful including the hot soup and delicious cakes waiting for us when we get back in the late afternoon. The main hotel is rustic, warm and clean and the annex which is a few steps away is more modern. There is a spacious secure boot room and a swimming pool and sauna. The only complaint I have. Is that, all this put together with the wonderful skiing made the week pass by far too quickly.

The hotel is showing its age, but it is still worth paying extra to have a beautiful view of the glacier from the window. It is very clean and friendly service. Dinner included in the price of the stay, but definitely exaggerated. There are too many salads, starters, soup, main course, dessert and cheese. Too much. A week and you'll gain a few kilos. Overall, I highly recommend this place for both long and short stays

Friendly family hotel near lifts and good bars. There is perfect place for skiing and relaxinx not just for adult. Perfect is for familly with children..long trip throw valley to nice place at the and of way.. Dinners was exellent .. thank you

Have stayed here a few times now. The food has always been passable (it’s not expensive so one is prepared to accept average). However this week was really below par. They try to offer a six course dinner but frankly it would be better to offer three really GOOD but simple courses. The rooms are excellent and the proximity to the skiing very good too. The sauna is second rate and unkempt with broken tiles and an rather unloved feel. Obviously we will be back but I’d like to see some improvements on the food or will see if we can book room only !
