The jungle hut is great, the view is beautiful, the service is attentive and the beach is even better. A good choice for business trips

The hotel is really special. There is no sign on the door. I thought I was in the wrong place, haha.
Facilities: The sea view room is very good. There is a separate path leading directly to the seaside. There are two showers in the room, and you can also take a shower outside.
Hygiene: On rainy days, some small bugs would crawl into the room. One night, I was scared to death that there was a big bug on the bed.
Service: The hotel has a beach bar, and the food is served very slowly. The Coconut King tastes terrible, so order with caution.

Like Ctrip with real name: First, I booked another hotel in Trincomalee, but the store told me that there was no room. There is nothing to say about the service. I had a beach seafood BBQ for dinner, $190 for two people (not including tip)

Wir haben einen wundervollen Urlaub verbracht. Die Hotelanlage ist super schön mit richtigem Dschungel-Feeling. Der Pool mit Bar, das Restaurant, die Strandbar sind sehr schön gestaltet. Unser Zimmer (Dschungel-Haus) war sehr geräumig und modern, stilvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und das Bett war sehr bequem. Zum Strand waren es 2 Gehminuten und es ist dort für alles gesorgt (Liegen, Schirme, Handtücher, Bademeister und Bar mit Getränken und Speisen). Alles in Allem ist das Hotel und die Anlage auf einem sehr hohen Niveau welches seinen Preis absolut Wert ist! Einzig die Kosten für Ausflüge sind im Vergleich zu lokalen Angeboten recht hoch, sodass sich vergleichen lohnt. Hervorzuheben ist der Service, sowohl im Restaurant, an der Bar, an der Rezeption und der Raumservice. Alle waren sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Essen (wir hatten Halbpension) war grandios - das beste Essen, dass wir je in einem Hotel gegessen haben!! Zum Frühstück gab es eine große Menü-Auswahl mit landestypischen und auch internationalen Speisen. Beim Abendessen mit 4-Gängen plus Zwischengang konnte man je Gang aus mehreren Optionen wählen. Das Essen wurde toll angerichtet, war abwechslungsreich und natürlich köstlich (regionale Produkte), selbst das Eis ist selbstgemacht. Es war wirklich wie im Paradies, wir können es jeden weiterempfehlen 😊

We had an amazing experience at uga this was our second stay indeed , the food was amazing, restaurant staff were extremely friendly and kind , I can’t remember the name but I remember he was saying he’s from batticaloa and had two children he was extremely polite person he made sure we had lovely time at the restaurant extremely caring and loving specially for my child . Also reception staff Mr Tharaka was extremely nice and warm person he made sure we had a lovely stay thank you very much for everything

I had the pleasure of staying at "Uga Jungle Beach", and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The luxurious accommodations, coupled with exceptional service, made my stay truly memorable. The hotel’s prime location made exploring the city a breeze, and I can’t wait to return to "Uga Jungle Beach" on my next visit. Highly recommended!

This is the second time I've been to Uga Jungle Beach as it is one of the best experiences I've had of staying in resort hotels in Sri Lanka. Amazing staff, from the garden help to the senior management. Awesome food even for vegetarians (I'm a vegetarian). They do have a separate vegetarian menu too! Lovely rooms (best are the sea view ones, the ones we stayed last time).. others are good too. All in all everything is fantastic with this hotel...nothing to find fault with. The Red Rock, 25 mins walk to the right side of the hotel is a place to go if you are interested in snorkeling! (You need to wear water shoes because of the broken shells and corals) We had a super time snorkeling there. Enjoy Uga Jungle Beach, you will not regret!

We had a perfect stay at Uga Jungle Beach. Staff was quite friendly and warm. The environment was so greenly and serene. Beach was amazing and well maintained. Food was super delicious with a wide spread of choices. Highly recommend this wonderful place ❤️

beaautifully nestled in a jungle setting with beach access. very impressive variety of food offered curated to our perosnal dietery needs. food was presented artistically and you eat with your eyes adage came to life. special kudos to chef Pradeep and Ishan for extending special attention to all of our meals. breakfast, lunch and dinner. we did not have to leave the hotel as they provided variety based on our likings. staff at the hotel were simply fantastic and very attentive. one of the best part of the resort is it's commitment to sustainability. they provide gloves and reusable bags when one goes for a beach walk to pick up marine washed in debris. ocean water was clear clean and warm . excellent swimming condition. rooms are very cozy and bedding very comfortable. out door shower option is a nice touch as well. exudes eco luxury and certainly a resort catering to those with high budgets . enjoy an great wonderful experience withe fantastic sri lankan hospitality at it's finest and over look the cost.
