Overall, it's very good. The service in the hotel is very considerate, the hygiene is also very good, the seaside scenery is good, but there are a lot of crows, grabbing food and making noise. They start crows very early in the morning. There are a lot of crows in this area! You can also catch small fish on the beach

My husband and I have just spent three nights at C Beyond; we had a wonderful stay and the staff were particularly helpful and friendly, especially the manager (owner?). There’s a chilled out vibe about the place that grows on you; as another reviewer pointed out, it’s all very low key and non-boasty. For instance, the food was sensational, but you wouldn’t guess that from the scruffy chalk board menu! The room was spacious and comfortable, we had a plunge pool which was wonderful, and the beach, a few yards away was spectacular- and completely deserted most of the time (apart from some inquisitive cows, although that might have been a dream…). I feel I should emphasise quite how secluded this place is: there are no shops, cafes, bars or restaurants within walking distance, so you’d have to get transport if you fancy eating off-site, for example. However the staff will be happy to organise that for you. All in all, highly recommended provided you’re happy to be off the beaten track.

I wrote this as we left the beautiful C beyond which will now have a special place in my heart. No where else have I stayed that has been so warm and inviting. We felt so relaxed and at home. The philosophy for running the hotel is evident in every aspect of the property. Their genuine love and care for the culture, local people, animals and land is exceptional. The way the property is run is the definition of hospitality “the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.” - I have never experienced this level of hospitality anywhere in the world. They remembered all the little things and catered for our children 5 and 10. This is bespoke hospitality.

From the booking to the travel to the stay was a great experience. The journey from Colombo was so adventurous and scenic. We took the highways to the location and o our way we visited Ritigala Monastery. Since we were getting late to check in, we called Deva of C Beyond asking him to prepare the Lunch for us. When we reached the destination, it was so peaceful, calm and quite with a lot of smiles while welcoming us. They had laid the lunch for me and my family which was so tasty. Room was spacious and very well setup with AC, Fan, Locker, Kettle, Tea/coffee, Water with an amazing view of the lagoon and the sea. The food was amazing with variety of options to choose from. Food was mad available fresh at the time we wanted to have them. The portions were substantial and full of flavor. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. They accommodated all our requested as and when we requested. The Room Service was very good and spontaneous too. They arrange the Pigeon Island tour to and back at a discounted rate. Me and my family really enjoyed the tour and snorkeling was a great experience for my kids. To wrap up, our holiday to Nilaveli was an amazingly relaxing experience all thanks to C Beyond which we will always come back to and recommend to any traveler who wishes to plan your next destination to Trincomalee (Nilaveli Beach). The location, view and swimming pool were magnificent. The accomodation had however some smaller issues such as electiricity outage (short), water pressure issue and loud airco but all issues were solved rapidly by staff so we could further enjoy our stay.

Wonderful place. Perfect location with views across to Pigeon Island. Relaxed, comfortable, quiet, beautiful. There is a private beach beyond the hotel beach gate where you will be disturbed only by the occasional cow! Breakfast was fabulous. Evening meals available and we're very good. Eric and all the really lovely staff were so helpful. We stayed in one of the first floor rooms with views overlooking the freshwater pond and beyond to the sea. Lots of bird activity to see too.

Ein kleines, sehr feines Hotel für Umweltbewusste (hoher Ökostandard)! Ausserhalb der Saison waren wir die einzigen Gäste und wir wurden von Eric und seinem Team unglaublich toll bewirtet. Das Essen war wunderbar! Die Zimmer waren makellos sauber und der Hotelstrand wurde jeden morgen gereinigt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
