"I stayed at this hotel seven years ago for two nights. This time, I revisited Oirase Gorge with a friend. The room was quite spacious, but the sofa had been converted into a bed, making it inconvenient to use and only suitable for placing clothes. The large room felt a bit sparsely furnished, and the TV screen was tiny, which was inconvenient for watching the World Cup. The breakfast and dinner were decent but not particularly impressive, similar to the old menu. Dinner now costs 6,000 JPY per person. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to Aomori Station, costing 3,500 JPY per person one-way, which needs to be booked in advance on the hotel's official website."

"The location is excellent, right next to the JR bus stop, and the Towada bus stop is also at the same location, making transportation very convenient. It's about a kilometer walk to Oirase. The surrounding area is very quiet, the hotel's onsen (hot spring) is very comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast are plentiful, with the yakitori (grilled skewers) being particularly delicious. The service is very attentive. The room facilities are slightly lacking, but sufficient for a comfortable stay."

"Although it's about a 10mins walk from the bus station, I'd totally recommend you to stay here. Breakfast and dinner are provided which tastes amazing, fish is really really fresh, coming from someone who doesn't enjoy eating fish. The rooms are on the 2nd floor, there are toilets on both the first and second level while the sole bathroom and onsen is shared on the first level. The shower closes at 9.30 pm (there's 2 shower heads, shared bathroom, though we showered 1 at a time, there's lockable doors). You'll have to lay your own beds, however, you can ask the owner to help you if you do not know how to, she is really friendly and kind. I had a great time staying here."
