"We wanted to experience Dogo Onsen and this was a great choice (albeit expensive because it was a holiday weekend). The hotel is lovely and the service is beyond excellent. The staff was super kind as we are English speakers. Plus, we really enjoyed the hotels onsens better than the ones in town (the Dogo Onsen is being renovated and only one room was open for each gender; the same was the case with the Annex). The hotels onsens were lovely and the private outdoor onsen was a really lovely experience. We also took advantage of their convenient bus service into town although it’s only a 10 minute walk and we walked multiple times. Highly recommend!"
