Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo Kanda

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi
Booked and stayed 8 nights, what I can tell you is the location is perfect and close to restaurants, convenient store and train station. the lobby had a machine where you can self-checkin despite midnight checkin, we arrived around midnight and used the machine to check-in. I believe only this hotel had this features where i am looking for midnight checkin hotel. Commenting on the room, it rather smaller than i expect, perfectly fit for 2 people, but if you are with big luggage, do not expect big hallway and spacious movement. Very compact for short stay, not more than that. Cleanliness is acceptable, had a laundry room and ice machine, my wife was so happy about it. Lovely and helpful staff, you can also use the luggage transport to move your luggage to another hotel.
Sotetsu Fresa Inn Ochanomizu Jimbocho

Suidobashi/Tokyo Dome
Stayed at this hotel for a week for my trip in Tokyo. Since my goal this time was to stroll around and do shopping, this hotel was a good choice - cost effective with an acceptable distance to the subway. One thing to keep in mind is that the entrance with the elevator is the farthest exit from the hotel, so if you're lugging a lot of luggage, maybe this hotel is not your best choice. A lot of stairs. However, the Jimbocho station is a good station to stay in as it can easily transfer to other popular stations like Shibuya, Ikebukuro and others. The amenities are available at the ground floor. Lots of restaurants within walking distance as well.
Sotetsu Fresa Inn Ueno-Okachimachi

Ueno/Asakusa
The location of this hotel is super central within Ueno. The only downside is the rooms are smaller than average by Tokyo standards and resemble cruise ship rooms but on the other hand, the nightly rate is pretty cheap so you can't really expect more. To accommodate my family of 3, I booked two rooms and luckily they were able to be next to each other and this was a good solution when me or my partner needed to get work done at night/early morning and we didn't want to disturb our toddler from sleeping.
Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nihombashi Kayabacho

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi
The only concern about this hotel is the size, and the value of money, but I cant complain much I think this is what you get in tokyo, if you want hotel with affordable cost you’ll get this size of the room, if you’re solo travelers than this will more than enough. Location it depends on where you want to stay I choose this location coz its close by tokyo station, and its very convenient if you travel a lot from tokyo, this area its not crowded, business area, not so many tourist around. But its nearby metro station, konbini just next to the building. The staff are soooooo nice and polite and so helpful. The breakfast on the other hand, i think you dont need breakfast from this hotel, its just simple breakfast with bread and coffee, basically you get voucher to have breakfast in the cafe that opens inside the hotel, when it’s weekend the lines to get breakfast is hideous.

Central Tokyo
The location of hotel is great- it is only 1-3 stations to each touristic area in Tokyo, like Sinzuku, Ginza, Asakusa. Pros: polite and helpful stuff, great location, purity, wonderful view, having laundry. Cons: there wasn’t a closet, only hangers, so it was a little uncomfortable. I really enjoyed to stay here.
Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo Tamachi

Shinagawa
This a nice hotel about a 10 minute walk from Tokyo Station. Get off the bullet train and your a short walk to the hotel so you can relax. The rooms are small but this is Tokyo and if you are not Mr money bags and can’t afford the Hilton, this a good place to stay on your way to other cities or if you are on your way back before flying home. You can easily walk back to Tokyo Station to catch the train or bus to Narita. I suggest the bus since it is half the price of the Narita Express and takes about the same time. A bonus is you catch the bus out front and don’t have to deal with confusing train stations. If you purchase the breakfast option be warned that it is very Japanese and not Westernized by any stretch of the imagination.
