Location is good near to Shingawa station, room however is dim, first time came across green curtains and such less lights. Air-conditioning is underpowered and solutions suggested by the housekeeping team and manager were impractical and rude.They NOT willing to change another room. The reason is tonight and tomorrow are fully booked. PLEASE HELP!!! I STILL NEED TO SUFFER FOR NEXT 2 DAYS? #0619 NO VIEWS. NOT HIGH FLOOR

Another very good stay at Shinagawa Prince Hotel! Location: very convenient as it’s just by the station and even if it’s raining we can go to few shops, restaurants, a pharmacy and seven eleven! Room: very small but we had everything we need for our stay. Comfortable bed to sleep. This time our room was the opposite side of the station so it was quieter and great night view from windows. Amenities: Good amenities especially we love body wash towel. Only request was that if they could prepare not only Green tea but also black tea that would be lovely. It’s always full of tourists at the hotel When we were staying we could hear voice of next room which was quite noisy and they were chatting quite late with loud voice so this was the only disappointment that we experienced this time.

location is great. hotel is older. you will queue up for breakfast, which is a mass processing operation.

A comfortable and lovely stay at hotel. Located conveniently opposite the Shinagawa train station. Lots of eateries in the station. Easy to move around Tokyo.

Our experience at Shinagawa Prince Hotel was mixed. Upon arrival, we were immediately directed to a self check-in machine, with no human interaction or guidance. We were required to pay a local tax on the spot, and the machine printed multiple tickets along with our room cards. The process felt cold and confusing, especially for first-time visitors. Our room number appeared as a 5-digit code, and with three different buildings on the property and no staff to assist, it was a bit of a challenge to figure everything out on our own. Eventually, we were told to make our way to the Annex Tower, which required taking two different elevators while navigating through a shopping arcade. Not the warmest welcome. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the view was excellent – as expected since we chose a high-floor room. However, breakfast was overpriced, and check-out time was at 11:00 a.m. instead of the usual noon, which felt unreasonable. We were even called in our room to be reminded to leave quickly. There is no microwave available anywhere in the hotel, which is inconvenient. While the location is great during the day, there’s not much to do in the area after 10:00 p.m. apart from a nearby 7-Eleven.

Out dated checkin system, pool closed since mid 2024 but all hotel directional signs show “swimming pool”

Best location if staying in Shinagawa. Hotel is a bit dated, and the rooms are a bit old, but everything is clean and functional. Rooms are on the small side, but should be expected in Tokyo. There can be a long line to check in, but you can always use the automated kiosk, although there might be some bugs with how you enter your name, how many passports to scan in, etc. Just let the service rep know you have problems with the machine and they will assist you.

Good location but the service can’t meet the Japan standard. The cup is dirty and the last night suddenly out of power of my room when I was taking shower.

There are many foods to eat and shopping. The station ares few minutes walk from hotel. We took the train to Haneda airport.

Hotel location is convenient, just a few minutes walk away from Shinagawa station which is a major transport hub. The narita express reaches it directly, and there are plenty of other train services such as the shinkansen available. Room is clean and the room amenities were topped up daily. There is an ice dispenser on every level.

The quality of the hotel is above average, close to JR Line and the city center. Will come again in future.

Hotel was not actually connected to the train station. Need to walk about 8 to 10 mins also.
