The location is ok, a bit far from main shinjuku and they only do housekeeping if you’re staying 7 days or longer. They change towels daily if you ask, but won’t make up room.

I stayed in a double bed room with small kitchen. Compliemtary drinks of coffee are free to provide every day. The room is quite spacious, but the small kitchen equipment is just barely adequate. Just plates, forks, spoon, small pot, a knife to cut food. No bowls and frying pan. I requested an extra pillow but not provided. It's ok if no bottle water is provided, but the boiling kettle is too small (just 0.6L) to boil water for drinking. Washing machine for washing and drying is a credit! Hair dryer is excellent!

Perfect stay at tokyustay eastside, we love the area around shinjuku, but a little bit far from JR. If they provide shuttle service to bus stop will be better for everyone

Our impression of Tokyo hotels was that they would be extremely small (past 2 trips were really small rooms), but the residential room in this hotel was big! We were deciding between Hyatt Regency in Yokohama and this one, but we ultimately chose this one despite paying more for the centralised location and the fact that there was a washing machine in the room too (free laundry!). This is literally only 3 mins walk away from Shinjuku-Higashi station which is linked to the Oedo and Fukutoshin line so it is fairly convenient to get to most major places in Tokyo. It is also situated in Shinjuku, but not in the heart of the district so it's not noisy and crowded with tourists at all. The hotel doesn't have a gym, but if you have an Anytime Fitness membership, they have one decent outlet just opposite the road. There are 2 convenient stores (Lawson and Family Mart) very near the hotel too, and a MacDonalds too. We got the highest possible floor (the highest one being the terrace room) for our room type and we had a nice window view overlooking the street down below. The bed was comfortable, but the toilet was a bit small (the usual for Japanese hotels). Highly recommended if you are looking to stay near to major Tokyo locations but also value your peace and quiet.

I found the price to be too high for the quality provided. The standards expected of guests at this three-star hotel seemed more appropriate for a five-star establishment. Clarity: Due to hotel policy, housekeeping services are provided only once per week, to prevent unexpected uncleanliness. This is my second stay yet still unchanged. Service: No housekeeping services were provided, despite being charged a service fee. You want one and they gonna charge you for it. Food - Breakfast: The breakfast options were unsatisfactory, limited, and overpriced. While a dress code befitting a five-star establishment was enforced, the quality of the food and service was closer to a three-star rating; hot food options were unavailable. The sole advantage was the room's size, exceeding the Japanese average; however, given the price, alternative three-star options are readily available.

Good hotel spacious with washing machine the only downside is they don’t have daily housecleaning for those below 6 nights stay but over all is good and decent hotel

The hotel was right next to the subway station which was very convenient and staff was nice. Which I didn’t like was the carpet in the rooms. I don’t think hotel rooms should have carpet floors in general.

The location is quieter than central Shinjuku area but walkable distance. The service is efficient and amenities are adequate. The room is comfortable and clean but the hotel doesn’t provide daily room cleaning service which is fine for short stay

The location and the hotel amenites are awesome. But one of the staff was very unfriendly and not willing to help on booking the taxi.

Our stay was nice and comfortable. It’s conveniently located from the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. I would highly recommend this if you’re planning your visit around Shinjuku.

we found hairs on the bed and bath room ,and one day even i put the limited cleaning card outside the door ,also forgot take the rubbish ,but the location is good

Very nice hotel, I love washing machine in the room.

There were blood stains on the sheets. Room size was decent.
