It was one of the most pleasing stays I had in all Kunming. The friendly staff, the amazing breakfast and the fact that they speak amazing English to assist you. To how fast they register you and how convenient it is to go all around , the station is nearby so if you’re planning to go to Dali or anywhere , it’s super convenient. The bathtub was very clean and the view was so beautiful! Deserves a 5 star 🌟 for sure!! They were so nice I had this food for free and even a Chinese rose cake for the new year !

I had an excellent stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms were impeccably clean, and the amenities were top-notch. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The location was also perfect, making it easy to explore the area. My only minor complaint was the shower temperature—it was a bit too hot and difficult to adjust. However, this was a very small issue in an otherwise perfect experience. I would gladly stay here again and appreciate the overall quality of the hotel.

Very central location within 10 minutes' walk to Kunming Train Station. Clean rooms with decent sizes. Might need to power up the room heater further.

Hotel ammenties are good and the room is spacious. . Hotel is located very close to train station. Hotel staff are very friendly. Hotel staff Mr Jesse helped me with Tour arrangements and he communicated promptly. Really appreciate that. The buffet breakfast is good with a wide selection. The staff always offered to make coffee for me when I stepped into the restaurant. Highly recommended hotel stay for all.

Very nice and convenient hotel for traveller who about to stay-over before using High speed railway from KM to other province via Kunming railway station. Close to South Ring Rd. Exit D with elevator. Staff very polite and helpfully. Big room , large bathroom , air conditioning system looks old but circulating air in the room is great. Recommend !!

Can use didi to go hotel if you have huge luggages It’s not that far but will be difficult to go to hotel with huge luggages

This is the last day we had in Kunming Yunnan before flying to our next destination. We enjoyed our stay at the Kai Wah Plaza Hotel. We loved our evening walk, exploring the offerings of all the different street vendors, looking at the colourful latterns and immersing the joy of being at a night market :-)

The hotel is well located and allowed us to make our way within 10 mins to the Kunming train station. However we find the bed too firm for us. Didn't have breakfast at the restaurant but staff accommodated our request to pack some food for our trip early morning out of Kunming. Napping street and old Kunming old street are worth a visit. We had walked from Wen Lin street through the Jade lake to the old street. I highly recommend this walk, lovely!

The hotel staff is very helping specially Ms. Koi苏 She is very polite and helping. Ms. Koi苏 helped me beyond her routine duties. She was guiding me for visiting so many places and always available online to get any assistance. Ms. Koi苏 is a worthy staff of KWP Hotel. Much appreciated 👍👍

Fabulous hotel with very helpful and attentive staff. Huge swimming pool which is well maintained. English spoken by some staff which was very helpful. Great location if you are travelling by train it is a ten minute walk to the North Entrance. I stayed twice in the hotel and they stored my bag which was great. Breakfast is excellent. Highly recommend.

The room is super big despite its price. Concierge is helpful in sending parcel and storing luggages. I book the hotel twice, on my first day and last day in Kunming. For the rest of the trip, I am in Lijiang. The hotel helpfully keeps all my luggages throughout my trip. The location is really good, only 5-10mins walk to Kunming train station.

Hotel location is close to metro station for easy access. You can 1 or 3 day pass for short stay or a top up card. Or use Didi app for inexpensive travel. Breakfast is 1st class. Room is big but wish toilet had a bidet. Otherwise this Hotel is top notch and won't disappoint. Counter and room service is commendable.
