"Like the title suggests, we had a pretty ‘average’ (at best) stay here… We had booked a room on Secret Escapes so instead of being over £300 a night half board we paid around £175 a night which, to be honest, is still too much in my opinion… The room is OK, no frills despite being a ‘superior double’ (with a sea view). We were on the 8th floor so did get a decent sea view and the balcony was big but seating uncomfortable with basic chairs and a small table rather than loungers. The infinity pool on the 9th floor looked nice but was very cold. The main pool was ok with plenty of seating and loungers and not busy at all when we stayed in early June. Breakfast was pretty good with everything you would imagine including cereals / pancakes / waffles / cooked food / cakes / cheese etc etc. Staff were typically not particularly friendly we found (except Bruno in the restaurant who definitely was (and funny). The dining room lacks any kind of atmosphere and generally the dinner each night was pretty underwhelming / mediocre / not the hottest / a fairly joyless experience. Oh, and we asked for an iron to borrow and were told they don’t have any to lend and we’d have to use their very expensive laundry service… what sort of hotel doesn’t provide an iron! This could be a good hotel but they need to focus on the service and the services provided!"

"I booked a double/twin room and was allocated Room 306, which does not match what was advertised. The room’s ceiling is unusually low, occupying a significant portion of the space and making the room feel cramped. There is only heater in the room and no aircond. Although during booking, it is stated with aircond. Therefore, we need to leave window slightly ajar for ventilation. A condenser located outside the window generates continuous noise for several minutes at a time, with brief quiet intervals in between. The noise is disruptive and affects sleep and overall comfort. When we went down to request for a room exhange, they said they are full house and they is nothing that they can do."
