Because the guests in the room next to you had gone to bed at around 11pm, your children were more lively when they returned to the room, which affected the rest of the guests in other rooms. So it was the hotel security guard who knocked on the door to remind them, not the police. The hotel is decorated in the old Shanghai European style, not old. Xiaoying also attaches great importance to the other issues you raised, and informed the relevant personnel to carry out comprehensive rectification, and strengthen inspection efforts to improve the quality of hygiene.
