Good location, clean, but facilities are a bit old

Temperature very uncomfortable inside the building. Unable to adjust room temperature with the indoor thermostat. Complained to the reception but couldn’t be sorted. It appears the room thermostat are just there for decoration as individual room temperatures cannot be adjusted. Guests have to make do with the central building temperature setting throughout their stay. Had a miserable 7 days with no option of making my room temperature cooler to sleep well. At the end, the hotel had to provide a standing fan in my room throughout my stay.

I took my kids to Tianjin Binhai for a competition. This Renaissance TEDA Hotel is a 10-minute drive from the stadium, so it is very convenient to travel.
