Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s clean, convenient, and best of all, dog-friendly, which made our trip so much easier. The room is a bit on the small side, but it’s cozy and well-maintained. Plus, the view from our window was lovely—definitely a nice bonus! Would recommend to anyone traveling with pets or looking for a convenient city spot.

We had great service. Able to check in early as a room was available. All the receptionists were efficient and pleasant. We had a lunch and again staff were great. It was my wife’s birthday and they produced complimentary bubbles. Armi in particular has alway been excellent, chatty, interested in what we are up to, booking seabird. We went to seabird for  oysters and martini. The oysters were great in fact they were from our home area. We have been to the Hoxton in Holborn, but have been to Southwark several times and always well look after. We have had a few surprise birthdays. More to come!

We stayed at the Hoxton in a room for two with a full bed and liked it very much.

The location is fabulous, as there are convenience stores, quick eats and a metro station just nearby. Shoreditch is tons of fun for a traveler who wants good nightlife, though it wouldn’t be the best fit for a family or for a traveler who wants a more mellow experience.

As you enter, there is a large cafe/restaurant seating area in the lobby, which is remnant of the coffee shop in the TV show “Friends”. Same vibe! There’s good service for the cafe/restaurant, and all charges can simply be added to your room bill.

The folks at the friend desk were very nice and helpful. After check in, you can take one of two elevators up to your room. The elevators were very quick- we never waiting for than a minute and we were there on a weekend!

The room it self was exactly what we wanted. Clean, tidy and cozy. There wasn’t a ton of excess space, but that was perfect as we didn’t want to pay for a big, lavish room. All of the furniture seemed new, and the TV was hooked up so we could surf the channels when we had a moment. There was also a modern radio appliance, which had a USB that could let you charge devices.

There was also a refrigerator and a safe for valuables. Additionally, they included a nifty map of London, which really came in handy for a first time visitor like myself.

The bathroom’s fixtures all seemed new- everything was clean, and the shower was strong and spacious. There were plenty of towels as well and a great mirror with excellent lighting for getting ready.

The only thing I wished was that there was an electrical outlet in the bathroom, but I didn’t find one.

We didn’t have much of a view but that was okay- the curtains were strong and totally kept the light out in the mornings (which was great because we had some long nights.)

All in all, I loved staying here- this is a perfect location for somebody staying in Shoreditch who wants a nice, clean, but well priced place to stay. I will absolutely stay here again when in Shoreditch!

Excellent location and service. Staff in front desk are gorgeous and helpful. Supermarket nearby and opens til kid night.
The only thing need to improve is the lighting. Definitely too dark with the weather. Room size is small even with one upgrade. No slippers provided or to buy, pls bring ur own.

The color matching of the room is quite nice. There are no slippers, toothbrushes or children's products. The front desk said that the hotel does not provide them. There are few waiters and no one helps with the luggage, but the sofa bed in the room has been laid out in advance. The breakfast is not bad, and the desserts are delicious. The transportation is convenient, close to the second-hand market, tram, and large supermarket.

The hotel in a great location, 5-minute walk to Metro station and 2-minute walk to a very nice restaurant. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.  The lobby has a good coffee shop.  However, there is no hanger in the bathroom to hold the clothes
