I am a frequent traveler staying more than 10 days a month in hotels. Just returned back from a pathetic 3 day stay at this place. What's good? the staff is absolutely amazing & saving grace. They took very good care & commendable. Everything else goes downhill from there. Firstly booked standard room from mm t as it was most expensive, so thought would be best. Big mistake. These are the worst & absolutely horrible rooms. In context of having paid almost 9k with taxes per day, it's reasonable to expect good rooms. These standard rooms are not even 1* standard. Was horrified on checking in this friday. Luckily the staff had another cheaper room available for the first day. The 2nd day had to suffer in the booked room. Why i say that -
the room is from historic ages. The tv would be a museum piece & was not working for 6 hrs. There is no dressing table or even mirror in room. The wardrobe is a joke. There are no electric points near bed. You have to walk to the door to operate lights or anything as all switches are at that end. No mobile charging plugs, you have to unplug the water kettle to plug in. The main-door lock doesn't work. Dogs snarling while walking to the room. The frontage & view is a joke as windows open to path outside, nice view for anyone walking outside the room. The rooms are at far end of the resort. Advice - avoid these expensive rooms like plague. The cheaper rooms in front are much better & nice.
